After arriving at Kilimanjaro International Airport or after breakfast at your hotel in Arusha, you will meet your professional safari guide at 7:30 AM (or based on your arrival time). From there, you’ll drive approximately 2 hours to Tarangire National Park.
Tarangire National Park is famous for its vast elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and diverse wildlife including lions, zebras, giraffes, and over 500 bird species. The park is especially stunning during the dry season, when animals gather around the Tarangire River, offering incredible game viewing.
Enjoy a hot hamper lunch during your game drive. After the safari, continue to your lodge in Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast at the lodge, you'll meet your guide at 8:00 AM and begin your journey to Central Serengeti, traveling via the scenic Ngorongoro Crater highlands. The drive from Karatu to the heart of the Serengeti takes approximately 4 hours, including a game drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Arriving in Central Serengeti by midday, you’ll enjoy a hot hamper lunch in the bush before heading out on an afternoon game drive.
Central Serengeti is renowned for its abundant wildlife and classic savannah landscapes. It's one of the best areas in the park for year-round game viewing, home to lions, leopards, elephants, cheetahs, and vast herds of herbivores. The Seronera River Valley, at the heart of Central Serengeti, attracts a wide range of animals, making it a prime location for predator sightings.
Later in the day, you'll drive to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast at the lodge, you will set out for a full-day game drive in Central Serengeti, exploring the park’s rich landscapes and diverse wildlife.
Central Serengeti, especially the Seronera region, is a wildlife hotspot known for its year-round abundance of animals. The area offers excellent chances to see predators like lions, leopards, and cheetahs in action, as well as large herds of zebras, wildebeests, and elephants roaming the open plains.
After a day of thrilling game viewing and a bush lunch, you’ll begin your scenic drive back to Karatu, where you’ll arrive in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast at the lodge, meet your guide at 8:00 AM and head towards the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater—a highlight of your safari and one of the best places in Africa to spot the Big Five.
The Ngorongoro Crater is the largest unbroken volcanic caldera on Earth and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its unique ecosystem supports a dense population of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffalo, rhinos, and hippos—all within the crater walls. The crater floor offers an exceptional opportunity for close-up wildlife encounters in a truly breathtaking setting.
You will enjoy a picnic lunch inside the crater while surrounded by stunning views and roaming wildlife. After the game drive, return to your lodge in Karatu for dinner and overnight stay.

From groundwater forests to open grasslands and the alkaline lake itself, the park is home to elephants, hippos, giraffes, and its famous tree-climbing lions. It’s also a bird lover’s paradise, with thousands of flamingos and over 400 bird species recorded.
Enjoy both morning and afternoon game drives, with a picnic lunch inside the park surrounded by nature’s beauty. After your safari, you will drive back to Arusha or directly to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure.
