After an early breakfast, you will depart your lodge for a final morning game drive in Ruaha National Park, Tanzania’s largest and wildest park. This is your last chance to spot Ruaha’s famous predators—including lions, leopards, and cheetahs—as well as massive elephant herds and rare antelope species like kudu and sable. The park’s dramatic baobab-studded landscapes and the Great Ruaha River provide a stunning backdrop for your last safari moments here.

Around noon, you will begin your scenic transfer to Mikumi National Park (approx. 4–5 hours’ drive). The journey takes you through rural Tanzania, offering glimpses of local villages, sunflower farms, and the vast miombo woodlands. Upon arrival in Mikumi, you’ll check in to your mid-range lodge.

This last safari offers another opportunity to spot lions, giraffes, zebras, elephants, and the iconic Mikumi buffalo herds, along with a variety of birdlife, all against the stunning backdrop of the Uluguru Mountains. By noon, you will conclude your game drive and begin the scenic journey back to Dar es Salaam (approximately 5–6 hours), traveling through Tanzania’s vibrant countryside, passing bustling local markets, lush plantations, and traditional villages. Upon arrival in Dar es Salaam in the late afternoon or early evening, you will be comfortably dropped off at your hotel, marking the end of your unforgettable safari adventure with memories of Tanzania’s incredible wildlife and landscapes.
