Day 1
Pick up from Kigali airport- Transfer to the lodge

Upon your arrival, you will be met by the apes booking vacations driver/guide at the Kigali Airport and proceed to your lodge with all the beautiful kigali city views. Check-in at your lodge, get briefed about the tour, then relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Day 2
Transfer from Kigali to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Transfer from Kigali to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Earlier in the morning after breakfast at your lodge, you will be met by an Apes booking vacations driver/ guide who will transfer you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. This drive will take you approximately 3 to 4 hours with the beautiful views of nature along the way, lunch will be served en-route. Upon arrival, you will check-in and at your lodge for overnight and dinner as you prepare for the next day.

Day 3
Gorilla trekking and Batwa experience
Gorilla trekking and Batwa experience
After early morning breakfast, drive to the park headquarters for a briefing on the dos and don’ts during gorilla tracking. Thereafter, you will proceed to the gorilla trail. Gorilla tracking normally lasts between 2 to 8 hours or even a day to encounter the gorillas. However, you'll be allowed to stay in the presence of these awesome apes for at least an hour. It is advisable that you carry packed lunch, which will be provided, as one cannot determine how long it may take to encounter the mountain gorillas. After this thrilling activity, you will head back to the lodge for lunch and relaxation then later head out for the Batwa cultural tour (Community Tours).

Day 4
Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

On the way from Bwindi, we will drive through the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, popularly known for the tree-climbing lions. While the sighting of the tree-climbing lions is not 100% guaranteed, a stopover at Ishasha is worth a visit! After the Ishasha game drive, proceed to your lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Day 5

Wake up to a hot cup of coffee or tea and head out for an early morning game drive, a good opportunity to view some early morning entertainment in the wild if you’re lucky there’s a possibility to see lions or leopards hunting down there prey. Retire from your morning game drive for a full breakfast and have some time for refreshment and relaxation before embarking on another stunning adventure on Kazinga channel, you will have to see a lot of aquatic birds and high concentration of hippos at this point and other wildlife species like the waterbucks, elephants, and antelopes that would have come to calm their thirsty. Return from this awesome adventure to the safari lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6
Transfer to kibale Forest National Park -Bigodi walk

Earlier in the morning after your breakfast, drive to Kibale forest National Park, with all the beautiful nature views. Later, arrive at the lodge, check-in, and have lunch. After lunch, enjoy the bigodi swamp walk. The Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary is a fascinating area, located in the Magombe swamp. This area is recognized for its extensive array of biodiversity among which are several primate species like the baboons, black and white Colobus monkeys, vervet monkeys and the L’Hoest monkeys. The Bigodi is also a paradise for bird watchers. Among the major bird species within the sanctuary is the grand blue turaco.

Day 7
Chimpanzee tracking and Transfer to Entebbe
Chimpanzee tracking and Transfer to Entebbe
Have breakfast and head to the trekking point where you will receive some briefing on the dos and don’ts during chimp trekking. Thereafter, you will proceed to trek the chimps in the Kibale Forest. An experienced ranger guide will take you chimp tracking and you will be marvelled at the sights of primates here. Once you locate the chimpanzees, you will have a full hour with them, afterwards, have lunch, and then start your road trip to Entebbe with a stopover at the equator for the lunch break, have some moments to stretch your legs, use the bathroom, take pictures here and buy some souvenirs from the craft shops that you can take as gifts for friends and family back home. We will then proceed with our journey back to Entebbe and drop off at the point of your call.
