You'll be picked up from your hotel in Arusha or Kilimanjaro/Arusha Airport for a 3-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Enjoy a full-day game drive within the park, followed by a hot lunch inside the park. In the evening, you'll drive to Ngedere Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Tarangire National Park is a wildlife haven, famous for its large herds of elephants and iconic baobab trees. With one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in Tanzania, the park is home to wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, and more, often gathering around the park’s water sources. Tarangire also hosts rare species like the fringe-eared oryx and long-necked gerenuk. During the dry season, it becomes a vital refuge for migratory animals, making it a must-visit destination for an authentic and vibrant safari experience.

After waking up, you’ll enjoy a hearty breakfast, pack your luggage into the safari jeep, and embark on an en-route game drive to the Serengeti, with a picnic lunch along the way. Start your day with an early transfer game drive from Central Serengeti to the iconic Ngorongoro Crater, a scenic 2 to 3-hour drive with wildlife viewing along the way. Upon arrival, descend into the crater for a full-day game drive, where you’ll have the opportunity to see all of the Big Five, along with a variety of birds and the rare black rhino. Enjoy lunch inside the crater while taking in the sights of nature and the high concentrations of flamingos.

After 6 to 7 hours of thrilling game drives on the crater floor, you’ll begin your ascent from the crater. In the late afternoon, head back to Arusha for your departure.
