Start your day with a pick-up from your hotel in Entebbe and begin your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park in a comfortable 4WD safari vehicle. Enjoy a brief stopover at the Uganda Equator Line at Kayabwe, where you can take some memorable photos. Continue the drive with a lunch stop in Mbarara, then proceed on your way to Queen Elizabeth National Park, arriving in the late afternoon. Check in at the lodge, and if time permits, go for a short evening game drive. Overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge or similar.

Game Drives & Boat Cruise at Kiznga Channel, Queen Elizabeth NP

After an early breakfast, embark on a morning game drive through the Kasenyi Plains, a prime area for spotting predators in action. This drive provides excellent opportunities to view various wildlife, including jackals, bushbucks, forest hogs, buffaloes, elephants, and kob. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, renowned for its dense concentration of wildlife and birdlife. The channel offers a great vantage point for observing animals such as hippos, elephants, and numerous bird species as they come to the water’s edge. After the boat safari, you can enjoy another game drive before returning to the lodge for the night. Overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge or similar.

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi/Mgahinga & Transfer to Kigali, Rwanda

Start your day with an early breakfast, then head to the ranger station for a briefing about the dos and don’ts of gorilla trekking. Accompanied by a senior ranger guide, you’ll hike into the forest in search of the gorillas. Once you find them, you’ll spend an hour with them, observing their behavior from a safe distance of about 10 meters. After the trek, transfer to Kigali, Rwanda.
