After an early breakfast, you will depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the world’s largest unbroken volcanic caldera, where you will spend an incredible day exploring the rich diversity of wildlife, including endangered black rhinos, large prides of lions, massive old elephants, playful hippos, spotted hyenas, jackals, and colorful flamingos around Lake Magadi, while enjoying a picnic lunch inside the crater at a designated site such as the famous Hippo Pool, after which you will ascend back to the crater rim and drive to your lodge in Karatu or nearby for another relaxing evening and delicious dinner;.
