Day 3

Lake Nakuru National Park

Start your day early with a cup of coffee before setting out on a 6:30 am game drive. With a bit of luck, you might witness an intense encounter with the "Lion Hunter" as it battles its prey in a dramatic fight for survival. Return to the camp by 9:00 am for a full breakfast, then depart for Nakuru, enjoying lunch along the way. Take in the breathtaking scenery of Mount Longonot and Lake Naivasha, with an optional boat ride for some extra adventure. Afterward, continue your journey to Nakuru.

Witness a variety of herbivores, such as hippos wallowing in the mud, large elephants with their calves, and many other fascinating wildlife species. After the drive, return to camp for a full breakfast, then check out and drive to the Isebania border, where you’ll cross the boarder and enter Serengeti. Upon arrival, our driver will meet you and transfer you to your prepared accommodation in Serengeti, where you’ll stay an overnight, have dinner and relax for the next's day adventure.

Enjoy an early breakfast at the camp, then set out with picnic lunches for an extended six-hour game drive through Serengeti National Park. You'll have the chance to track a wide variety of wildlife, including wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, lions, black rhinos, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, bushbucks, lesser kudus, wild dogs, kongoni, impalas, Grant’s gazelles, black-backed jackals, mongooses, olive baboons, and vervet monkeys, among many others. With some luck, you’ll spot several of these amazing animals. Around midday, exit the park with an optional stop at Olduvai Gorge (entry at an additional cost of USD $35 per person). By evening, you’ll arrive at the conservancy area for dinner and an overnight stay at Simba Campsite.

After breakfast at the camp, depart for a game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater, descending into the crater with wildlife viewing along the way. You’ll have the chance to spot lions, African elephants, black rhinos, blue wildebeests, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, wild dogs, Grant’s gazelles, zebras, African buffalo, and hippos around the crater floor. Enjoy a picnic lunch at the crater rim before beginning your ascent back to the main gate. After approximately six hours in the crater, exit and drive to Arusha, where you will be dropped off at your hotel.
