If time allows, enjoy a town tour to discover Arusha, including a visit to the Maasai market and the Cultural Heritage Center, offering insights into the local culture and traditions.

Day 2

Transfer to Materuni waterfall & coffee tour

Transfer to Materuni waterfall & coffee tour

After breakfast, begin the safari with a drive to Materuni Waterfall, located near the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro. Upon reaching the village, start a walking safari to the waterfall, encountering chameleons, various trees, birds, insects, and fruits along the way. The waterfall, fed by Kilimanjaro's forest, offers fresh water, and swimming is allowed—remember to bring swimwear. Afterward, return to the village for a coffee tour and enjoy a hot lunch featuring local Chagga cuisine. Next, head to Chemka Hot Springs, where you can swim in natural spring water, warm on one side and cooler on the other, surrounded by fig trees and small fish. Finally, drive back to Arusha for the evening.
