Maasai Culture & Journey Back to Arusha

All good things must come to an end! Enjoy your final meal at the lodge before checking out, ready for your return journey to Arusha. After meeting your driver-guide at the reception, you'll set off on a scenic two-hour drive back to where your adventure began, your heart and camera full of unforgettable memories from your African safari experience.

On the way back to Arusha, stop for a Maasai village visit, where you’ll be welcomed with a traditional Adumu dance. As you approach, the Maasai will begin their rhythmic, deep guttural chants, accompanied by impressive high jumps from the men, who leap into the air with straight legs in unison with the chanting. The dance reaches its peak with a high-pitched shriek, creating a lively and unforgettable cultural experience.
