Day 2

After breakfast at your hotel, you’ll depart for Ndutu (about a 4-5 hour drive). This area, located in the southern part of Serengeti National Park, is known for its rich wildlife during the calving season. You’ll arrive at Ndutu Heritage Camp, where you’ll enjoy an afternoon game drive, spotting newborn wildebeest, zebras, and predators that follow them. The Ndutu area is known for the calving season, which is one of the best wildlife spectacles in Africa. Enjoy an immersive experience as you witness the wildbeest migration and the early months of life for the newborns. Dinner and overnight at Ndutu Heritage Camp.

Today, you’ll spend the entire day exploring the Ndutu area, which is known for its incredible wildlife during the calving season. Witness thousands of wildebeest giving birth, attracting predators like cheetahs, lions, and hyenas. The area’s rich ecosystem ensures that you’ll encounter a variety of animals, including gazelles, buffaloes, and ostriches. The game drives are designed to give you an in-depth look at the migratory and calving phenomena, and your guide will offer insightful commentary on the behaviors of animals during this critical time. Return to Ndutu Heritage Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 4

After breakfast, you will continue your journey northward into the Serengeti. The drive takes you through the stunning landscapes of the southern Serengeti before arriving at Moyo Tented Camp in the central Serengeti. Here, you’ll enjoy another game drive in the afternoon, where you’ll encounter more wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, and predators. The central Serengeti is a prime location to see the migration of wildebeest and zebras, as well as predators on the hunt. Dinner and overnight at Moyo Tented Camp.

Spend a full day in the Serengeti on game drives. This area is famous for the Great Migration, where millions of wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles migrate in search of food and water. Depending on the timing of your visit, you may also witness dramatic predator-prey interactions. The Serengeti is home to an abundance of wildlife, including the Big Five (lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and rhinos). Your experienced guide will take you to the best spots to witness the movement of the animals, ensuring that you see the magic of the migration. Return to Moyo Tented Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 6

Serengeti to Ngorongoro

Serengeti to Ngorongoro

On your final day, you’ll leave the Serengeti behind and head toward the Ngorongoro Crater. After a scenic drive (about 3-4 hours), you will reach Embalakai Camp, located near the crater rim. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive around the Ngorongoro Crater. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to one of the world’s most spectacular concentrations of wildlife, including elephants, lions, and flamingos. The caldera offers a great chance to see a wide range of animals in one location. After a thrilling game drive, you will return to Embalakai Camp for your final dinner and overnight stay.

The crater is often referred to as the “Garden of Eden” because of the diversity of wildlife found here. After exploring the crater, you will drive back to Arusha or Kilimanjaro airport (approximately 4 hours), where your safari ends.
