Zanzibar to Serengeti National Park

You will be picked up from the hotel and driven to the Zanzibar Airport, where you will board a small plane that flies into the Serengeti Airstrip. You'll be arriving in Serengeti in the late am as the flight may transit in Arusha.

From there, you will start game drives in the afternoon where you will head to the lodge for lunch before heading out for a game drive. Enjoy a surreal sunset in the Serengeti.

Full day Game drive in Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will continue with your game drive. Today, you can choose to do a full-day game drive or split it into two parts — one in the early morning and another in the evening.

If you prefer to rest, you can relax in the afternoon. But if you want to see more wildlife, we recommend staying out for the whole day.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Highlands

After an early breakfast, you will go on a game drive to explore different areas of the park. You’ll return to the lodge for lunch. Afterward, you will check out and start your journey to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

In the evening, you will arrive at the Ngorongoro Serena Lodge, which has a great view of the Ngorongoro Crater.

Once you check in, you’ll enjoy dinner and rest early, getting ready for an exciting early morning descent into the crater.

Ngorongoro crater to Arusha

After breakfast, you’ll head down into the crater for a 5-hour safari. The Ngorongoro Crater is home to about 30,000 animals, including some of Tanzania's last black rhinos.

With food and water available all year, the crater is full of wildlife like wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and large African elephants. It's also a great place to see predators like lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and even the rare leopard.

You’ll enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor. In the late afternoon, you’ll head back to Arusha airport to catch your flight back to Zanzibar.
