Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, you'll head to the Ngorongoro Crater. You will descend 600m into this magnificent crater for a game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the world's most densely crowded African wildlife areas. It is home to an estimated 30,000 animals, including some of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhinos.
Supported by a year-round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro Crater supports a wide variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebras, buffalo, elands, warthogs, hippos, and giant African elephants. Another big drawcard to this picturesque national park is its dense predator population, including lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the ever-elusive leopards, which sometimes require a trained eye to spot.

The park is particularly known for its abundance of ancient baobab trees and for having the largest concentration of elephants in the country. It provides unique chances to observe the interaction between elephant families. You will do a game drive through the park, depending on the reported sightings of animals (mostly predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards, as they are harder to spot).
