Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

You will be collected from your Nairobi hotel around 7:30 AM. After a short safari briefing and completing the necessary payments, you’ll join your group and depart at 8:30 AM for the Masai Mara. Along the way, we’ll stop at the Rift Valley viewpoint to admire the stunning landscape.
We’ll then continue our journey, arriving at your camp in time for lunch and check-in.
In the afternoon, enjoy an exciting game drive across the Masai Mara National Reserve, exploring its rich wildlife.
Your overnight stay will be at the comfortable Sankale Camp.

Full-day Masai Mara Safari

Start your day by waking up at 6:30am and enjoying a hearty breakfast. Afterward, you'll spend the entire day on game drives, with a picnic lunch in tow. The Masai Mara is famous for its Big Five—lions, elephants, leopards, rhinos, and buffalo—though leopards and rhinos can be harder to spot due to their elusive nature. The wildlife concentration in the park is truly exceptional!

Next, you'll head to the Mara River, known for the annual wildebeest migration. Lunch will be served by the river, but be cautious not to feed the monkeys, as they are known to try to snatch your food, especially fruits.

While at the river, you'll have the chance to visit the hippo pool, where crocodiles may be sunbathing on the rocks. You’ll also encounter a variety of plains game, such as antelopes, wildebeests, zebras, and Masai giraffes, along with scavengers like hyenas and vultures. After lunch, we'll continue exploring the park before heading back to camp.

Masai Mara and Return to Nairobi

Following breakfast, you have the opportunity to visit a Masai village for a cultural experience, which costs around US $10 to US $20 per person.

Afterward, you'll drive back to Nairobi, with a lunch stop along the way. You'll arrive in the early evening and be dropped off at your hotel.
