After breakfast, you will begin your journey to Tarangire, the home of elephants. The park is renowned for its large elephant population, and you'll encounter many throughout the day. Tarangire is also an excellent place to spot wild cats like lions, cheetahs, and leopards, alongside various herbivores. During your game drive, you will get up close to the animals, enjoying the sights of wildlife in their natural habitat. At midday, you will stop for lunch at the Tarangire River picnic site, where cheeky monkeys might try to steal your meal. Tarangire National Park Early Morning Game Drive

After an early breakfast, embark on a sunrise game drive in Tarangire National Park, experiencing the park's beauty during the quieter, more active morning hours. By late morning, exit the park and head to Mto wa Mbu for lunch. Afterward, enjoy a relaxing biking tour through Mto wa Mbu, where you'll explore local waterfalls, banana plantations, and rice fields. This immersive experience allows you to connect with the culture and landscape. After a day of exploration, return to Fig Tree Lodge for a restful overnight stay, reflecting on your adventure in this beautiful region.

After breakfast, you'll drive from Mto wa Mbu to Serengeti, a 6-hour journey (including stops) through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Stop at Ngorongoro Crater for 20 minutes.

Optional Maasai village visit (not included in price), where you can explore Maasai culture. Known for their lion-chasing traditions, becoming warriors by hunting lions, and drinking raw blood (a tradition still practiced), this is an opportunity to learn about their way of life. Duration: 20-45 minutes. Many clients skip this visit. Entrance: $10-20 per vehicle.

Arrive in Serengeti late afternoon and enjoy a game drive in Seronera until evening. Witness a beautiful sunset while observing wildlife, and if you're lucky, watch predators hunting. Later, head to Seronera Campsite for the night.

After a relaxing lunch, enjoy a game drive, then ascend the crater back to camp to prepare for the return journey to Arusha.
