Kigali City Tour and Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

Upon arrival at Kigali international airport ( Flight arriving before 14h00) or after your relaxed morning breakfast, enriched with an African touch, check out of the hotel ( if you have already arrived in Kigali) and head for an amazing city tour of Kigali, drive to Kigali Genocide Memorial Centre, where over 256000 victims of the Rwandan genocide of 1994, were laid to rest as a sign of respect to their bodies. After you will drive off to Volcanoes National Park, have stop overs to take some beautiful photos and have a great view of the rolling landscape. You will relax at your lodge and prepare for your next day gorilla trekking activity. You will spend the entire evening at the lodge.

Gorilla Trekking and Cultural Village Visit

After an early morning breakfast, gather all your gorilla trekking gear and prepare for a short briefing conducted by Rwanda’s park officials. Following the briefing, you will drive to the trekking starting point and begin your adventure into the jungle to search for the shy mountain gorillas and observe their fascinating behavior in their natural habitat.
Upon encountering the gorillas, you will have the extraordinary opportunity to spend one unforgettable hour with them, gazing into their deep, expressive eyes. After this once in a lifetime experience, you will enjoy a well deserved lunch. In the afternoon, you will visit the Iby’Iwacu Cultural Village, where you will immerse yourself in the unique and vibrant culture of the Rwandan people. Later, return to your lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Golden monkey trekking and transfer back to Kigali for departure

After enjoying a hearty breakfast, you will set off on an exciting golden monkey trek.
This experience follows a similar procedure to gorilla trekking but is generally less strenuous, making it a pleasant and rewarding adventure. After completing the trek, you will return to your lodge for a well-deserved lunch. Following lunch, you will begin your transfer back to Kigali. Upon arrival in Kigali, we will either drop you off at the airport for your departure or at your pre-booked hotel (at your own arrangement).
