Day 1

Arusha - Tarangire National Park

Arusha - Tarangire National Park

You will be picked up from Arusha after breakfast and depart with picnic lunches at 8:00 am. We'll proceed to Tarangire National Park for a full game drive. We will arrive at Tarangire and start a half-day game drive. Inside the park you will have a chance to explore different wild animals such as tree-climbing lions, elephants, giraffes, impalas, zebras and more. Meals and your overnight stay will be at Kizumba Campsite.

Day 2

Tarangire National Park - Lake Manyara National Park

Tarangire National Park - Lake Manyara National Park

At 8:00 am, collect your lunch boxes and then drive to Lake Manyara National Park. In Manyara, you will explore this floodplain island, a narrow belt of acacia woodland being the favoured hunt of Manyara’s legendary tree-climbing lions and impressively tusked elephants. Squadrons of banded mongoose dart between the acacias, while the diminutive Kirk’s dik-dik forage in the shade. Pairs of klipspringer are often seen silhouetted on the rocks above a field of searing hot springs that steams and bubbles adjacent to the lakeshore in the far south of the park. We will have a game drive in the park until late in the afternoon. Then you will head to Kizumba Campsite for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 3

Lake Manyara National Park - Serengeti National Park

Lake Manyara National Park - Serengeti National Park

Collect your lunch boxes and then drive to Serengeti National Park. You will have a game drive en route in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Serengeti is believed to have highest concentration of elephants in all the national parks in East Africa. It is also a place where, magnificent mammals like kudus (both Greater and Lesser), Sable and Roan antelopes can easily be spotted in Miombo woodland. The male kudu have beautiful spiraled horns while male Sable antelope have impressive curved horns. The park is also a habitat for endangered wild dogs. Other animals in the park include lion, leopard, cheetah, giraffe, zebra, eland, impala, bat eared fox, and jackal. Continue the game drive in Serengeti until late in the evening and then head to Seronera Campsite for dinner and your overnight stay.

At 6:30 am after breakfast, we will collect lunch boxes and head out in Serengeti National Park for a full day game drive. The Serengeti National Park is believed to have the highest concentration of elephants in all the national parks in East Africa.

At 6:30 am, depart from the camp for an early morning game drive in Serengeti. At 8:30 am, return to the camp for breakfast and then proceed to Ngorongoro Conservation Area with a game drive en route. You will arrive at Simba Campsite and check in for dinner and your overnight stay.

Ngorongoro Conservation Area Game Drive at The Crater

At 7:00 am you will have breakfast at leisure. At 8:00 am, descend the crater rim for a full day tour until 4:00 pm. You will stop for a picnic lunch in the park. Tanzania's 'secret garden' which contains a hidden world teeming with, the Ngorongoro Crater, includes most of the animal species found in East Africa. Approximately 25,000 large animals, mostly ungulates, live in the crater. Large animals in the crater include the black rhinoceros (Diceros bicornis) and the hippopotamus. There also are many other ungulates: the wildebeest, Burchell's zebra, and crocodiles (Crocodylus niloticus). Cheetah (Acinonyx jubatus), African wild dog (Lycaon pictus), and leopard (Panthera pardus) are rarely seen. Later, return to campsite for dinner and your overnight stay.

At 7:00 am, you will have breakfast at leisure. Collect snacks or lunch boxes for a half day game drive en route to Arusha. On the way, you can have the option of visiting the Maasai Village at an additional cost. Otherwise, take a game drive en route until late afternoon and then get back to Arusha town. On arrival in Arusha town, we will drop you off at your hotel/lodge or hostel.
