Day 1
Johannesburg to Kruger National Park

Let the fun begin! We will depart early in the morning from Johannesburg's O R Tambo Airport or any of the surrounding airport hotels. We'll enjoy a scenic 5 hour drive to Hazyview, near the entrance of the Kruger National Park. We'll stop for comfort breaks along the way. Lunch can be purchased in Hazyview (own cost, not included). Before entering the park, we will transfer to an open-sided safari vehicle. Game viewing begins as soon as we enter the gates. Your safari guide is a highly experienced, English speaking guide who will make every game drive an unforgettable experience. At the end of the afternoon, we'll check in at our camp overlooking the Sabie River, where we will spend the night. Accommodation is usually at Skukuza Camp or Lower Sabie Camp, depending on the season and availability. We use the standard Sanparks bungalows which are rather basic chalets (not luxury accommodation). Each unit has a small private bathroom. Dinner is included.

Day 2
On Safari in the Kruger National Park
On Safari in the Kruger National Park
Today will be devoted to game viewing in the Kruger National Park, from the comfort of an open safari vehicle. We do not follow a fixed schedule and do not limit the duration of our game drives. If the guests want to stay out all day on game drives to maximize their game viewing time, we can do that. If you prefer to return to camp to enjoy a quick siesta during the heat of the day, that is also possible. The quality of our guides is what sets us apart. Great guides understand what makes a safari special. Questions are welcomed, and there will be plenty of opportunities for photography. Where possible we make a comfort stop to stretch our legs at a scenic viewpoint or game viewing hide. We provide mineral water, courtesy blankets and the use of courtesy binoculars, but it is always good to bring your own binoculars. A sumptuous mid-morning breakfast or brunch will be enjoyed back at camp, or at a picnic site along the way. We return to camp at sunset for another delicious dinner.

Day 3

We rise with the sun for a final early morning game drive, to search for any animals that may have eluded us thus far. Brunch may be enjoyed along the way or back at camp and we exit the park late in the morning. After exiting the park, we will transfer back to an airconditioned minivan for the journey back to Johannesburg. We normally arrive in Johannesburg by the end of the afternoon. We recommend that guests overnight in Johannesburg (own arrangement). If you need to board a flight this evening, please book a flight that departs after 9 pm.
This popular 3-day safari combines very well with other safari lodges or destinations, please ask us if you wish to extend your trip or add another destination. Kindly note that the Panorama Route is not included on this tour, but can be added if you extend your trip by one night (extra cost).
