Emma Gregg is an award-winning travel writer, editor and photographer who has been visiting Africa on a regular basis for nearly twenty years. Based in the UK, she's the author or co-author of several guidebooks published by Rough Guides, including First-Time Africa, a practical introduction to the continent for those planning their first independent trip. She's the former editor of Travel Africa magazine and a contributor to many other national newspapers, magazines and specialist travel publications including National Geographic Traveller and The Independent. She's never happier than when she's stepping off a boat or a plane to embark on a new adventure.
