Safety
Gishwati-Mukura National Park is very safe to visit in our opinion. Aside from your guide, you’ll be escorted by experienced park rangers when going out on activities.

Malaria & Vaccinations
Due to the altitude, there is no malaria in Gishwati-Mukura. However, if you are traveling in low-lying parts of the country, precautions against malaria are advisable. Consult your local travel doctor or healthcare professional for information about recommended vaccinations.
Chimp Trekking
