Isalo National Park is fantastic throughout the year. Because the park is primarily a hiking destination, however, the best time to visit is during the cooler months of the Dry season (April to October). At this time, it rarely rains and skies are generally clear. These are also the best months to see the park’s lemurs. During the Wet season (November to March), some 4WD tracks may be closed after heavy rains.
