Very interesting country with friendly people. Lots of wildlife and great scenery
Spent five nights in all. Three in Nyeri, which is a nice sized town to explore on foot, also with a few museums. Two nights in Samburu reserve, which has much to see. We booked a tour and stayed in Sopa Lodge, which is well inside the gates. Five game drives in all, with much to see. An unforgettable experience

Amazing Experience
What an unbelievable experience that my wife and I will never forget. We were fortunate enough to see a pack of lions hunting buffalo, which was definitely the highlight of the safari. Our driver, James, was super knowledgeable and you could tell he was a pro. Our second last day, we had not yet seen a cheetah, so James drove around for a while, and of course we stumbled upon a cheetah who had just finished feeding, with absolutely no other people/cars around. There's a lot of driving on the safari (as expected), but could not recommend it more.

Masai Mara and the Laikipia Plateau
In Kenya we visited both the Masai Mara and the Laikipia Plateau (Mugie). Both very different but also both very good for wildlife viewing. Laikipia being the more exclusive destination and thus often being the only car at a sighting. Especially the possibility to off-road is magical. The Mara is a place you need to share with many other tourists, but the number of game is excellent. Maybe we where luckily but we did see a lot of active (hunting, fighting cuddling) lions which was for me something I've only seen happen so often in the Mara.

Mesmerising! Beautiful Country with abundance of greenery and wildlife.
Kenya is full of surprises and has a great vibe. The people are lovely and very friendly. The wildlife is insane and you can see them at close proximity. Kenya has alot of history and this is evident in Nairobi.

Excellent Value for Price and Great Guide
This was a great trip, and Peter was an excellent guide who was very informed and went out of his way to find animals. The roads were in bad shape due to the flooding and the vehicle was not the best. Suggest guests pay more for land cruiser. I was a solo traveler and having a guide for me and not being crowded into the van was part of the value. The accomodations were great. Don't forget to visit the Heminingway house in Amboselin.

Massai MARA a 10 out of 10
One of the best trips Iv'e ever taken--Saw everything imaginable AND UP CLOSE--Photos look fake they are so beautiful
great guide and compfortable safari ride
I highly recommend the bush planes if you are flying into Nairobi as its a 6 hr rough ride to the marsh
We rode to Lake Nokuru and Massai MAra and then took a bush plane back MUCH easier and quicker not too mention FUN!! However luggel nededs to be light--our guide was kind enough to drive our luggage back to Nairobi to meet us for lunch before our flight
AMAZING DONT MISS KENYA

Fabulous Experience
I traveled to Kenya in May. The weather was slightly cooler than I had expected, especially in the evening. It was the rainy season so there were downpours (and some muddy roads) but only for short periods of time. I went to Nairobi National Park which was really terrific as you were close to the city but could still see quite a bit of wildlife. I also visited the Giraffe Sanctuary in Nairobi. It was wonderful being so close to the giraffes and feeding them. The restaurants in Nairobi were fabulous and the hotel (Fairmont at Norfolk) was excellent.
I went on a three day safari in Masai Mara with Savannah Woods Safaris. Lucy did a terrific job organizing everything and Mr Joseph, our driver, was very knowledgable. I stayed at the Mara Ololade (tent with a bathroom). The safari itself was amazing and I saw some amazing animals and beautiful scenery.
I definitely recommend a trip to Kenya and going on a safari at the Masai Mara.
