A beautiful and insightful safari
Fredrick was lovely, knowledgeable and passionate about Kenya. We learned so much and saw the Big 5 by day 2! My husband and I had a blast, we plan on booking and exploring more in years to come. If you are hesitant, just book a Kenya safari - you will not regret it!

I found Kenya to be warm and welcoming!
We used SafariBookings for a 3-day trip to Amboseli National Park and it was amazing! We saw so many animals, large herds of elephants, and even got a few glimpses of Mount Kilimanjaro. Reny Safaris was very accommodating and the stay at the Amboseli Lodge was perfect. We felt safe throughout our travels from Nairobi to Mombasa.

Kenya has a unique balance between nature and civilization
The trip start with a bit of a hiccup that we arrived to Lake Nakuru on international tourism day which allow free access to all Kenyan National so the ride to our lodge from Nairobi airport was a lot longer then we have anticipated due to the traffic. We were able to sees some animals on the way but it felt more like a zoo than a national reserve. The purpose to visit Lake Nakura was to see the flamingos but there were very few and far to see which was a bit disappointing but again it is nature and we cannot control it. We departed from Lake Nakura to Masai Mara which was a 7 hours ride (getting out Lake Nakura took almost 2 hours) so I would recommend to fly as the drive was long and the 4x4 Land Cruiser is not very comfortable for long road trip. The highlight of the trip was obviously, Masai Mara, the amount of animals and the beautiful landscape was amazing. I have been to Kurger National Park in South Africa and would say that Masai Mara is bit better. Overall Benson, our tour operator was able to recover from the hiccup in the beginning and made a very memorable trip for us.

The birthplace of Safari
Kenya is the " eco-hub " of East Africa it has parks in arid regions where you can see animals adapted to dry conditions ( Oryx, gerenuk, Grevy Zebra, Reticulated giraffe ..etc) like Tsavo and Samburu, others in mountain forests where you can see Bongo, giant forest hog, and black leopards like the Aberdare NP, Amboseli with great views of mount Kilimanjaro is an elephant and birding heaven, and the Maasai Mara is the best national park in the world ( along with the adjoining Serengeti ). I visited in 2015 and 2024 and both safaris where fabulous.

Cool
The schedule is suitable for 9-day holidays. Wild animals are everywhere. All lounges have swimming pools and remember to bring swimming suits. Kilimanjaro is amazing.

A country of contrasts
We spent 15 days in Kenya, where 6 of them were on a safari. We had an amazing holdiday. We must admit that 6 days of safari was enough - maybe 5 would be perfect. All the driving is exhausting, I'm not gonna lie. Otherelse we slept in both budget hostels and luxurious hotels, and we really got to see the contrasts in this beautiful country. We stayed outside of Nairobi for the first night, and then went to three different national parks. We then spent a few days in Nairobi, some time i Mombasa, and then a few days at Diani beach. This was perfect for us, and we feel like we got to experience al ot of culture, but also some relaxing in the end. We will probably not go back to Kenya, just because we feel like we have experienced so much there, and there are other places we want to visit, but we will recommend everyone who hasn't been there to go.

Absolutely amazing, stunning and colorful!
Kenya was absolutely amazing, stunning and colorful. There are no words to describe Africa and the animals. Seeing all the animals on the Masi Mari was incredible and the African people were polite, gracious and friendly. Our African safari lodges were lovely, clean and spacious, and the food was plentiful and tasty. It's an experience you cannot get anywhere else.
