I have been to Kenya before but I never get enough of it. It especially gets Better when I tag along my friends. The Wildlife is Awesome, Amazing countryside, adorable people and very warm reception. I must not forget to mention my two friends at Kiboko Kenya Safaris, Noel and Clare. I credit them with my experiences there, they are great safari planners. I have been to Panaroma and the Great Rift valley lodge and they are just superb.

Stunning landscapes and extraordinary wildlife

Kenya is a very diverse country, with an incredible array of wildlife and landscapes on offer. Their tourism industry is efficiently run, with lots of camps offering comfortable lodgings and international food options. Luckily we visited at the fag end of the tourist season when there weren't many other tourists around.

The national parks are straight out of children's story books with every conceivable animal on display. The sheer number of animals is simply overwhelming, we literally saw thousands of animals in the first game drive itself. The country that I come from (India) is also famous for wildlife, but even the best national parks back home don't come remotely close to the magnificence of the African plains. The landscapes are diverse and surreal. Sights such as the endless plains of the Serengeti and the mighty Mt Kilimanjaro are sure to be imprinted in your memories forever.

Getting around the country can be a pain. Highways are well maintained, but the roads leading to national parks are quite bad resulting in long travel times. The people are polite and speak English, so didn't face any problems at all. It is not a cheap safari destination, but the money you pay is going to conserve wildlife for future generations and also help people who are among the poorest in the world, so well worth it.

There is little doubt that Kenya provides exceptional wildlife viewing opportunities. One word of caution: roads! The infrastructure may be decent enough around, and between major cities and towns, but access routes to reserves/conservancies are terrible. If you have a bad back then beware.

The fauna in the Mara is diverse and the natural beauty of the reserve is unquestionable. Home of the rich Maasai Culture, a place where humans and wildlife co-exist in awesome harmony

We had a fantastic trip to Kenya. Our tour operator (Vintage Africa Tours) proved to be fantastic. Our guides/drivers were all top-notch in both their knowledge of wildlife and the areas we went to (which were fairly extensive, from Nairobi to Aberdare, then to Lake Nakuru / Great Rift Valley, then on to Masai Mara, back to Nairobi, and finally to Amboseli). Each evening they provided us with detailed itineraries for the following day with a brief explanation, and if we had any problems at any camp or lodge, they straightened it out for us. The wildlife and scenery we saw were absolutely amazing, and if we wanted to stay and watch impalas leap around while the sun was setting, or watch lion cubs play with each other and their mothers, they were very accommodating - they let us dictate the pace of the tour rather than the other way around. Of course they knew which areas of the parks to head for a good chance to see specific game - and that is what we relied on them for. They also arranged our lodging, and I have to say that we were pleasantly surprised with each place we stayed at. Overall, I can't say enough about the tour operator and the amazing things we saw in Kenya!

Kenya is that one country that has been endowed with almost everything. Its wildlife is great and in ubandance. You will see all the big five at mara without struggle while if you are a fan of birding Nakuru will give you an ultimate experience. When it comes to the scenaries Kenya has various beautiful places, Mombasa beaches are awesome, the great rift valley and the slopes of Mt kenya. Kenya is also endowed with several wterfalls like the thompsons falls Zaina in Nyeri counnty tomention a few. facilities like the hells gate will leave your eyes wantinting to see more. its residents are friendly. you will love the intact culture from Samburu turkana and samburu people

Could not have asked for more in terms of wildlife and scenery - we lived the documentaries we have seen on TV. Weather warm but not too hot, some rain, lot of cloud, storms, drama, loved it. Accommodation variable but never below an acceptable standard. We travelled only by car and some of the roads are definitely mad and bad, particularly the road from Narok to Masai Mara. Our guide - Paul of Bush and Game safari - was fantastic. Favourite park: Amboselli.

After traveling in South Africa and Uganda, Kenya would be a country where we would return for another safari. The people are incredibly fun and friendly, and the variety of landscapes and wildlife are exceptional.

Kenya's parks are at different altitudes offering each of them different wildlife and scenic beauty. The presence of birds is well-known.
