Brilliant.
I had a thoroughly good time in Kenya it has so much going for it in terms of what to see and do and I found my safari competitively priced although not cheap.
There are two small problems though. One is that the food in some of the camps was highly repetitive. The other is my tour involved three different buses and drivers. It was annoying as I felt as single traveller I was being passed around in a way that suited the drivers and the tour companies - not me. I was just told tomorrow you go in another bus so there was no consultation which always annoyed me. Luckily the other people were good companions so it was not really an issue but imagine had they not been decent.

Great experience and wildlife!
It was a really impressive trip to Amboseli. The long trip from Nairobi is definitely worth it. You see a lot of nice scenery of the Kenya countryside and once at the National Park the four hour trip will be rewarded with an unbelievable variety of wildlife, incl. gnus, zebras, buffalos, giraffes, lots of elephants, hippos, monkeys and a vast number of different exotic birds. Amboseli offers many different areas from dry to green, from flat land to hillside, from savanne to lakeside, all within a short distance of game drive. It was a trip I will never forget, thanks to our driver and Kelvin, the tour guide, both of whom never gave up in their ambitions to find interesting places, natural wonders and wildlife. Just great! Not to forget the majestic Kilimanjaro being a constant background with its snow covered summit to everything we saw. Absolutely recommended!

Best country in Africa ...so far...
I really enjoyed Kenya. I did a tour with Inspired feet Safaris which is a woman owned business. As a solo female traveller I felt that my needs were well understood. The safari was amazing. I felt safe and included in all the tour groups I joined. The wildlife was incredible and I saw almost everything I wanted too... missed hyenas and leopards but I know other groups saw them. I highly recommend both Kenya and the tour operator for travelling.
