Amazing experience
We visited Amboseli, Lake Naivasha and Masai Mara. Our safari company was Unscripted Safaris who were very helpful and professional throughout. A special mention for our guide/driver Daniel who was exceptional - very knowledgeable and went out of his way to make sure we had a fabulous experience.
During our safari we managed to spot every animal we were hoping to see apart from rhino. We enjoyed Amboseli in particular as it is smaller than Masai Mara and less driving involved. Particularly impressive with Mt Kilimanjaro as a backdrop. Saw dozens of elephants. Less to see at Lake Naivasha although our hotel Sopa Lodge was superb. Masai Mara is vast so it took a lot of driving to be able to see animals such as lions, cheetahs and leopards. For this reason I would not recommend safari for families with young children We were there in April which is the rainy season but we were lucky that the rain only came once at night and once when we were travelling between Lake Naivasha and Masai Mara. After our safari we flew down to Diani Beach to meet up with family. Beautiful beach and nice restaurants. We then travelled by hire car to Mombasa before flying home. The beaches north of Mombasa were nice but very windy at this time of year (not sure if it’s always like this). We were with a family member who is from Mombasa although now lives in the UK and he speaks Swahili. He was quite happy to drive the hire car - I would not recommend this for anyone unfamiliar with the area. We enjoyed Kenya, it’s a beautiful country and the people are friendly. However there is no doubt that there is a lot of poverty and it’s clear that most people are just scraping a living. This is hard for privileged Europeans to come to terms with.

Excellent Safari Experince
I booked a trip with Leisure Escape Safari. They did an excellent job. The trip to Kenya was very good. Hospitable people. I visited four national parks. I started in Nairobi and first visited Amboseli, then Naivasha Lake, Nakuru Lake and finally Maasai Mara. Nakuru Lake was the best for seeing wildlife. I saw all five major wildlife during the trip. It was an excellent trip overall and enjoyed my stay in Kenya.

It was simply beautiful
We really enjoyed the tour. The vastness of the parks is impressive. There is something to discover everywhere. The landscape alone is fantastic. Watching the animals makes it even more exciting. Our driver Maromaro was very friendly and drove us safely through the areas. We met a lot of elephants, which was exciting because they were very close to each other. We will have fond memories of the safari.

Great sights on the Mara
I had a great stay in Masaai Mara. It was my second time and there are so many incredible sights. We got very close to a group of elephants and saw an interesting encounter with a pack of hyenas following a big cheetah. I really enjoyed it! I took some great photographs as well.

It's amazing journey in Kenya!
It was my first time to be Kenya, didn't get much impression about Nairobi because only stayed there for one night. However, the following tour with Beacon Safaris was really fantastic. What surprised me was that the country looked so beautiful and clean, people were nice and friendly, the hotels we had stayed were up to international standard, so as the meals... It was really a wonderful and unforgettable journey for me!

Amazing Destination
We loved our time in Kenya. We went to the Maasai Mara, Amboseli, and Lake Nakuru. All three parks were amazing for different things. The Maasai Mara just had animals everywhere and has the Savannah look that I think most people outside of the continent imagine Africa. Amboseli has the view of Mount Kilimanjaro which is unparalleled by any other view. Lake Nakuru gives the best chance to see Rhinos and would probably interest bird watchers a lot (though Amboseli was really good too).
We loved that we went during the low season when there were less tourists. It slowed us to get closer to animals. Our only thing we weren't prepared for were the women trying to sell their goods outside of each park. They can be very pushy to buy something and you can only buy so much.

A dream come true
The title sums up our Safari trip. We honestly could not have imagined a better Safari trip. Dan, our tour guide, honestly made the trip by being so knowledgeable, kind and accommodating. He spoke to us about Kenya as a country, explained the history and local life of villages and towns as we drive through them and really gave us a sense of what Kenya is.
The safari its self was honestly breath taking. We saw all of the big 5 and were lucky enough to see 4 of those 5 on our first 2 hour game drive. We had moments of pure tranquility in which we were parked up amongst a heard of elephants, watching them interact with one another and eat. We also experienced a pack of lions waking up from their night sleep and walking casually around us. I can’t express how amazing all of this was.
We stayed in fabulous accommodation (The Mara maisha camp and the sopa lodge) in which the food was outstanding along with the cleanliness, comfort and facilities that were all offered to us. We felt safe at all times.
I can’t express how amazing Dan our tour guide was. He really did make the trip for us!!
I highly recommend Kenya, Mufasa tours and Dan for your Safari!!

Country worth visiting!
My family visited Giraffe Centre and Snake park in Nairobi. Then we had a 5 day safari (Amboseli-Nakuru-Naivasha-Maasai Mara) with Bigmac Africa Safaris. This tour operator is excellent and they respond quickly to any inquiries. My little boy had a chance to dance with the Maasai people in their village.
Diani beach also has powdery white sand.We rode camels for the first time.Kenya is never boring as there is a lot of things to do from the city of Nairobi to the grasslands to the coastal area.I would say this is a trip of a lifetime for my family.

Amazing to see the wildlife
It was fantastic and overwhelming to see the wildlife in the Masai Mara, and at Lakes Nakuru and Naivasha.
I also enjoyed my first afternoon in Nairobi, walking through the city and going up the KICC tower.
I found the Masai village visit artificial but nonetheless interesting and fascinating.
It was hard to get out of the tourist bubble once in it, and find budget ways to see the city rather than expensive taxis and tours.

Extremely scenic country with beautiful nature and spectacular views
Had a very good time in Kenya, climbing Mt Kenya (5 days), doing a safari to spot wildlife (5 days) and have some relaxation time in Mombasa (3 days). Apart from shortening the safari a bit (and extending the time in Mombasa) I would do nothing different.
