Great Experience
My wife and I normally traveled by self-drive or train and we have never joined a tour. It was our first time experience of a guided 10 days package and we enjoyed it thoroughly as planning was done by the company and the guide did my normal job as a driver.
It's probably the best I could hope for as a tour. I enjoyed it and thought it was well worth it.
Kenya is a beautiful, geographically varied country. It was much more easy-going and hassle-free than I was originally expecting. Visiting Kenya was a great experience!

Unique experience and wonderful scenery but need to pay premium price to enjoy it
The geological location of Kenya made it an ideal place to travel during norther hemisphere summer time(July,August). The weather is neither too hot nor cold. Most of accommodations(lodges) have good food, tasty grilled vegetables and meat. Coffee and tea are superb! When you travel among those developed countries, sometimes you might need to find a good coffee/shop so that you can enjoy a good quality cup, but in Kenya this is something that most lodges would serve. I don't like the transportation honestly. The roads are powdery and ridiculously bumpy. Even in good road condition i.e., from Nairobi to Navasha where we need to cross a mountain, once there is a conjunction many drivers keep on jumping the queue and we all end up stuck into a total jam and no way to get out of it. However, good news is that there are many roads under construction by Chinese companies. For example, the way to Masai Mara is half completed during 2018 summer. Imaging going there next year would be much better. A good guide is somewhat a lucky one, he is the person that critical to the whole experience. Hot air balloon over Mara is an unforgettable experience. You will enjoy the quietness and the beautiful savanna sunrise, though a bit cold in early morning generally but that warmness from the balloon make you feel like sitting next to a living room fireplace.

The safari was very nice, kind driver and good views.
We did a three day safari, which is enough. It's very lovely to see all those animals, and we saw the big five.
The weather was okey, which is good to go in winter, because then it's not too hot.
The accomodation was fine, but we didn't really meet other people.
We are from Holland, and the most of all those people on these accomodations are from England.
The food was good. Our gide was a nice guy. We are happy with this Safari!

Amazing safari!
The safari and all the animals were amazing. We managed to see almost every animal in our 6 days safari. Masai Mara was my favorite park. The accomodation wasn't luxury at all in the tended camp but we had all the minimum services and the food was good. I think this is part of the experience. Our driver was super skilled, always connected to other drives to communicate where the animals were. The agency (budget holiday safari) is very serious and we respected the program. Amazing experience

Amazing variety of animals, birds and backdrop
Great wildlife and scenery.
Weather was great
Accomodations for the 3rd night was awesome, the first and second night was great, especially the hidden tunnel that went to the watering hole.
Guide was very good, Nimrod.
Only thing I would do differently is take the train to and from Nairobi to Tsavo East. Driving back into Nairobi (just before we got to the airport area) was very long and painfully slow. We stayed downtown and it must have take at least 2 hours from the airport to our hotel.

Fabulous Safari Experience
We just finished a Safari to Lake Nukuru and Masai Mara and I think it was one of our best experiences as a holiday. Right from planning to the end we were guided by Serene East Africa Safaris. I must admit the planning and advise was flawless. The guide, transport, boarding and lodging were really good. The weather was awesome through out our travel. Yes we were disappointed for not being able to see the famous migration but had been advised in advance that due to abundant rains migration was likely to commence only in July. But we were happy to see abundant wildlife and our guide Peter was simply superb and patient with our queries.
A little disappointed with Nairobi due to its notorious traffic but Giraffe Center was awesome.
Overall I would say that a visit to Kenya for Safari experience is highly recommended .

Landscapes of dreams, welcoming population, it was wonderful...
I had dreamed of browsing the immensities of the bush to discover the wildlife in its natural environment.
I was able to realize it with a very experienced guide. All the people we met were welcoming and friendly.
The accommodation of very good level and the delicious food.
Everything to make this trip unforgettable.
Only downside, the cost of this trip ... a little expensive...

Fantastic
We really enjoyed the whole trip! We saw so many animals! This included a lot of big cats which are my favorite. All the people there were nice and the entire trip had a good vibe. The tent camps as well as the lodges were great! Clean and fantastic settings. Charles our guide from Classic Journeys was great as well. He knew the area and the animals and was always aiming to please. We had hesitated to book a trip on line and with a company not based in the US but everything went smoothly. The only thing I would change are the roads! Even the main roads are very very rutted and hard to travel. Doing it again I would fly between parks where it was feasible instead of driving. I have done both ways and flying is the way to go. I suggest going to Kenya to everyone I know. It is one of my favorite places in the world. I miss all the animals and the kind people!!!
