Excellent first trip to Kenya
Our group spent 3 days in the Maasai Mara before heading to Eldoret to provide medical training. This was the perfect way to get over jet lag and stay active. We were able to see the Big 5 and multiple other animals on our daily safaris. We flew from Nairobi to a small airstrip next to our hotel with Safarilink and I couldn’t recommend this option more because it saves you a 5 hour drive (flight was 45 minutes) and it just adds to the adventure for about an extra $100. We stayed at the Serena Mara lodge and the stay was wonderful. The staff was very accommodating and the meals were actually pretty good (well seasoned &plenty of options) for a large scale hotel operation.
We used Seremara safaris to plan our excursion. Benson and his team were there every step of the way, from driving us from the hotel to Wilson Airport, checking us into our flight and picking us up on our return. Communication was easy during planning. Seremara was very detailed in what was to be provided and payment options were a breeze. Benson, from Seremara, was available via WhatsApp during our safari for any issues.
Needless to say our group was very pleased with the tour we had set up for us and we had no issues along the way. We would definitely use Seremara again and I’m happy to have been matched up with them through this website.

Mesmerising
The trip was amazing, everything was just perfect. Our guide Kikitu was the best. We saw so much wildlife and beautiful scenery, that I will never forget this tour.

Fabulous Kenya
I am a frequent visitor to Kenya. This trip did not disappoint. I always discover something new things besides revisiting the old. I love taking friends to Giraffes Center, Elephant Orphanage and City Park to feed the monkeys. Every safari experience is different and fabulous.

Beautiful country!
It’s a beautiful country, with so much adventurous activities. The wildlife sightings are a dream come true for any wildlife enthusiast. Avoid travelling to Mombasa in Jan-Mar, as it gets very hot in the day.

Wonderful Wildlife and Scenery that is protected and cared for
I visited Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara. In 4 days (3 nights) using Balu travel. Isaac was my private guide and he was amazing. Besides having a hospitality background and gaming experience, he was a friendly and caring guide who made sure that i had a great trip. The hotel in Nakuru ‘Sarova Woodlands’ in Nakuru town was ok with very friendly staff, good internet and buffet restaurant (but no gym) . The tented lodge in Masai Mara ‘Emayian Luxery Lodge’ was amazing. All inclusive and fine dining, jacuzzi in front of the tent and very friendly staff. The two parcs had abundant wildlife including the famous big five. But also many other animals. The facilities inside the parcs are less than in South Africa (no picknick areas with washrooms). This is inconvenient when traveling the whole day. In Masai Mara we made a stop at a crocoldile walk-centre and at the airport for a toilet break, both locations did not have toilet paper.

Amazing experience!
I had an amazing experience in Kenya! All the wildlife I saw in the national parks was incredible! I also had some nice experiences in Nairobi on walking tours, at the giraffe center, the museum, and exploring the shops and markets. I highly recommend this wonderful country full of kind and cheerful people.

A place not to be missed
I travelled to Kenya in February 2024.
Flew from Manchester to Heathrow to Nairobi to Mombasa. Experience at Nairobi airport wasn't great. It would have been nice to have been told that I had to pick my bag up at Nairobi airport before catching my connecting flight to Mombasa. More details as to where to catch the flight to Mombasa would have also been good.
Mombasa was an interesting place with lots of history. Spent 3 nights here before heading to Diani beach. Lovely beaches and spent time relaxing. Good bars and restaurants all along the coastal area. Bora Bora was a good place to visit. Had breakfast with a giraffe which was something special.
From Diani beach I went on a 4 night safari with Kenya Bush Expeditions. Went to Tsavo East, Tsavo West and Amboseli National Parks. I wasn't that keen on doing a safari but the rest of my family wanted to do it. Well I'm glad I did it. It was certainly an experience I wouldn't have wanted to miss. Saw so many animals and some really close up.
After the safari I went to Nairobi to finish off the holiday. Nairobi was much cooler which was good from my point of view.
There is lots to see here. Went on another safari! Nairobi National Park. Much smaller than the other National Parks but still well worth a visit. Karen Blixon museum was interesting. The tour guide was very good and there's lots of shopping.
I would really like to go to Kenya again as there is still so much to see.
