EVERYONE SHOULD VISIT KENYA
I went to Kenya as a volunteer , and I was with poor kids that were abandoned or abused. Although it was the sad part of our trip because you see a different world and my heart was breaking everything I was there, their smiles was making my day and made me happy.
After volunteering , we went for safari… Best experience ever. Safari in Masai Mara was unique. They say that it is a once in a lifetime experience but personally I can’t wait till the next time I will travel to Kenya and live this again

Travelling in Kenya can be tiring because of the long road trips, but it definitely worth it !
Second time in Kenya. My impression is that the country developed in fifteen years and it's definitely moving forward. I think the overall level of services, welcoming and staff professionalism is good compare to some other countries I've been. We generally found our trip enjoyable because we didn't suffer any unexpected issue or lack of organisation, etc.
However, keep in mind that the road trips between the parks can be long and exhausting. Plus it is sometime necessary to depart early in the morning. But it totally worth it ! The scenery is exceptional and the wildlife we could observe was so numerous ! Yet, keep in mind that Kenya is a touristic destination, so in the parks we sometimes felt hard to find ourselves in the middle of nowhere enjoying the moment : so many Land Cruisers and vans around the Lions !
Regarding the security, we felt safe everywhere, in particular in Nairobi where the hotels are equipped with high end security equipment...

Kenya, a mesmerizing destination, captivates with its diverse landscapes, from the stunning Maasai Mara savannah to the picturesque coastline. Immerse yourself in rich wildlife at national parks, witness the Great Migration, and experience vibrant cultures. Kenya, a jewel of East Africa, promises an unforgettable adventure blending nature and tradition.

Warm country and people. It's a real pleasure to travel and stop there
We participated in a 6 day safari. Each destination brought great satisfaction and appropriate camps and places of rest and overnight stays.

Magnificent
We have planned 5 days of safari and 2 days in Nairobi - which turned out to be a great plan for our family. Our daughter is 8 years old so she felt comfortable travelling for extended hours in the car and also getting to know a lot of new information. For families with smaller kids I would suggest to reduce the safari time as it can be quite tiring.
We have been amazed first of all with the fresh air and cleanliness of Kenya (compared to the West Africa where we have been before coming to Kenya). The city is very vivid, travelers would find any type of cuisine and a very warm welcome from local people.
A separate blast of emotions was caused by the safari itself. It has been a dream to walk next to giraffes and watch the lioness eating her prey from the car. We were lucky to see the 4 out of the Big 5 (leopards were quite shy those days and hid from us). For those people who saw Africa on National geographic and Discovery channels - that's the picture from your TV!
All of the places where we stayed (we chose a medium level of comfort) had clean and nice bedrooms, tasty food and good wi-fi.
I haven't noticed too many mosquitos or any other type of insects that might make you feel uncomfortable.
I definitely recommend going to Kenya - now it became visa-free, so even more reachable.
Before coming to Kenya I read that your impression and safari success heavily depends on the guide, we were very lucky to Guideon from Meektrails Safaris as our reliable and caring guide, overall level of organization was very high and I would also recommend this tour operator.

Ripped Off
Due to health issues we had to cancel our safari trip to Kenya…despite following all of the procedures to obtain a refund less a 10% administration fee and despite assurances our refund was being processed…the tour operator has ghosted us and we have lost our money $4,500 USD.

Marvellous Kenya
My recent trip to Kenya was an unforgettable adventure filled with diverse landscapes, rich wildlife, and warm hospitality. From the vast savannahs of the Maasai Mara to the breathtaking views of Mount Kenya, every moment offered a new and awe-inspiring experience. The wildlife safaris surpassed my expectations, allowing me to witness the iconic Big Five in their natural habitat. The local culture and traditions shared by the Maasai people added a unique and authentic touch to my journey. The accommodations were comfortable, and the delicious Kenyan cuisine further enhanced the overall experience. Kenya truly left an indelible mark on my heart, making it a destination I would eagerly recommend to fellow travelers seeking both adventure and cultural immersion.

I love the country this was my third visit
Our organizer was Mwema safari, Lu guide Paul was very kind, smart man, he provided us so much information about Kenya and its wildlife. Thanks to him we saw the so called big 5! He was even a skilled driver he managed in sometimes chaotic traffic jams.
Our accommodations were lovely, also the food tasted so good! We had a great experience !

one of the best holidays I ever had
My sister and I traveled to Kenya to stay at the ocean coast and to see a wild life. Initially, we flew to Mombasa and took a drive to Diani beach, which is considered to be the best in Africa. After spending a fantastic time of 3 days in Diani , we head back to Nairobi from Ukunda airstrip. We booked Unscripted Safari for 4 days of private safari tour with mid range accomodation.
The safari started from visiting Lake Nakuru, where at the entrance we saw 3 white rihnos. Since our drive took around 6 hours, we stayed in Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge, and continiued our drive around the lake next day. Within 3 hours we observed zebras, buffalos, rihnos, large number of flamingo, pelicans, giraffes, antilopes. The weather was cool +20 celsium degrees, and it was perfect for a comfort travel.
The same day we traveled to Maasai Mara, where while driving to the Mara Intrepids Tented Camp, saw an african leppard in one place, elephants family, two male cheetah and three lions. Next morning we were very luck to observe four female lions hunting, then female cheetah with a baby.
Travel to Kenya was one of the best in my international experience. Lovely people with a good sense of humour, colourfull clothes, fantastic wild life, really beautiful and green sceeneres of Indan ocean coast and savannah, excellent quality hotels and food. Wish to return!
