Kenya is amazing
First of all a big thanks to Ann and her staffs in behalf of the Blue Mountain Trekking Adventure for making our Safari trip to Kenya possible. We visited early October hoping to see the great migration but we did not but seeing plenty of different animals, off reading in Masai Mara, visiting Masai Village was fun and an amazing experienced. The highlights in our Safari in Amboseli was morning walk with the Masai Rangers with the beauty of the Kilimangero and the parade of Elephants. It was beautiful, unforgettable and amazing experienced. Nyati camp was beautiful & clean and the staffs are very nice.

Magical land of extraordinary wildlife and wonderful people who showed us what Ubuntu means
During our five-day trip in Kenya, we visited Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, and Lake Naivasha. It was an inspiring experience for me and my family.
We landed in Nairobi and started our safari experience from there. Nairobi is a vibrant, multicultural, and fascinating city. Many people told us to be very careful when walking around Nairobi, but we felt safe everywhere and walked around a lot. The people were always friendly and helped us understand Kenyan culture and how things work in the city.
On the safari, we were pleasantly surprised by how everything was organized. No single tourists were wandering around. Only groups with dedicated guides with special vehicles. I think this helps preserve nature as it is now and provides a quality experience for all the tourists. We chose to go on a budget safari, meaning we stayed in ordinary places, not posh ones. They were all very comfortable and showed pieces of Masai culture.
The experience with the animals was unique. We saw everything we knew only from National Geographic videos - elephants, zebras, giraffes, hippos, rhinos, lions, cheetahs, crocodiles, flamingos, and many more. Everywhere we went, some local people helped us understand what we saw, taught us a lot about the animal's behavior and the people's culture, and helped us take excellent photographs

An amazing country, our visit will stay with me and all of my co travellers forever.
Absolutely excellent experience. We were picked up straight from our Hotel in Nairobi to go to the great rift valley. We spent two days there, visiting Mt Longonot, Hell's Gate National Park and Lake Naivasha. The next two days were spent at Masai Mara national park where we were able to see all sorts of savanna animals.
The scenery was amazing, being able to get so close to so many animals was very special and we felt very safe throughout the whole tour. And to wrap it all off, our guides, Samuel and Joseph from Bush-thorns Adventures and Safaris were the ideal mix of friendly and professional, I would highly recommend them.

Country of natural beauty and friendly smiles
Honestly… hands down best holiday my fiancé and I have ever had! The entire trip was well organised and everyone was super friendly and chatty. We got up and close to lions and cheeters and saw the rest of the big five and plenty more. Went to lake Nakuru, Masai Mara and finally diani beach for a relaxing extension

Magnificent!
Only until I set foot on this place I understand why people say you will be obsessed with it. It was truly an experience that you’ll remember for the lifetime. I really enjoyed seeing the lions and cheetahs as they are such beautiful creatures and of course as well as the others. The scenery is so so different from other places in the world as here you feel that what the planet should be. Hope all these beautiful animals can live forever without their territories being invaded and destroyed. Thank you Marurumi Safaris and our guide peter brought us this magnificent trip!!

Amazing
We had a 12 day safari visiting 5 different parks. The whole experience was absolutely amazing. Our trip was arranged by apodiformes and they were brilliant at organizing exactly what we wanted. Our driver Kevin made our experience truly magnificent making sure we saw everything. It was wonderful to see the animals in their natural habitat and so many different species. My husband is also very interested in birds and Kevin was very good at spotting birds and identifying them. All the parks were wonderful and each offered something different. The one not to miss would have to be Maasai Mara where the abundance and variety of animals was truly amazing. It was also great to meet the Maasai people who still live in a very traditional way.

Beautiful country, incredible wildlife, wonderful people
I've travelled to Kenya a few times over the years - first as a backpacker 20 years ago, more recently for safaris, as wildlife photography is one of my passions. My most recent trip was with my 12-year-old son in October 2023. We travelled to Buffalo Springs and Samburu National Reserves in central Kenya, Lake Nakuru to the south-west and finally down to the Masai Mara where Kenya meets the Tanzanian border. We travelled with Spirit of Kenya Safaris and had an incredible trip. Kenya is a spectacular, varied country, with extraordinary wildlife, which is why I keep coming back. I'm already planning the next trip. You can see photos from the last one here: https://jameshopkirk.com/return-to-kenya

Absolutely breathtaking
I absolutely recommend Kameraz as a tour company and in particular Bernard as a guide. His knowledge of the parks and animal behaviour was extraordinary. We have wonderful accommodation, excellent facilities and locations. There was a bit of a drive between Lake Nakuru and Amboseli Park, but I would not have missed either so it was a small price to pay.
Kenyans are super friendly and at no time did we feel unsafe- Bernard took such care of us.
This is first safari I had been on, but it is definitely not the last. Next time I will take my children (16yo)- some of the days are long so not sure littler ones would cope.

Everything I hoped it would be
I travelled to Kenya and did a 4 day safari on a budget. I really can't see how my animal experiences were in any way different to those spending many thousands of pounds. The Masai Mara is beautiful. Sometimes the immense open landscape just takes your breath away. I was worried that perhaps it might feel like a large zoo, but no, these animals are living their normal lives, the only caveat to that is that of course they have become fairly accustomed to safari tour trucks... meaning they don't run away. You do get to see them in their natural habitats.
Nairobi itself isn't immensely attractive but its nice enough. Whatever extra tour or additional visit you require... there will be someone who can arrange it. All standards of accommodation are available. Even the budget elements are completely fine and dare I say, possibly add to the adventure.
