Beautiful Country with Kind People
I had a wonderful two weeks in Kenya in July 2023. I traveled with my partner and four of our friends. We visited Diani Beach, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, and Maasai Mara. The people in Kenya are so hospitable and friendly. We experienced beautiful weather in the mid 70s on safari and low 80s at the beach. We had an amazing tour operator, Flash MCTours. Our driver was very knowledgeable and took great care of us. The tour company owner, Peter, was always available for any questions that we had. We saw such amazing animals. We were lucky to see the big five, we watched a monkey being born, the wildebeest migrating, and saw many babies as well as adult animals. We really enjoyed our boat ride to Crescent Island on Lake Naivasha. Being up close and personal walking with giraffes, zebra, wildebeest, gazelles, etc. was beautiful. Diani Beach was gorgeous. The sand is so white and soft and the water was warm, and so blue. I cannot wait to go back to Kenya.
We also enjoyed several days in Nairobi. The shopping, restaurants, and culture was fantastic.

Amazing Place to visit
The safari was amazing. Everyone from the driver to the hotel staff were so friendly and keen to talk about what you had seen but if you did not want to talk happy to leave you alone. I was able to see the Big 5 but also so much more which I was not expecting which made the trip so wonderful. I also went to the coast and went snorkelling / Suba diving was able to swim with dolphins, turtles and even saw a Humpback whale with a calf. I would recommend Kenya as a place to visit.

Quintessential African Safari
When you picture an African landscape with abundant wildlife and sweeping plains, you picture Kenya. Its outstanding beauty and breathtaking vistas are only enhanced by the warm, friendly people we met. Everything from the landscape, animal airings and accommodation exceeded our expectations and we cannot wait to return.

Vibrant, awe inspiring and exciting
I was travelling with a Kenyan friend and we treated ourselves to a three day private safari in the Masai Mara. We absolutely loved everything about it. Our guide was excellent and really friendly. We visited a Masai village which felt like a real privilege and the camp we stayed in was excellent. In just one day we saw lions, elephants, buffalo, zebra, antelopes, wildebeest, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, cheetah, warthogs, hyenas and stunning birds. The scanty is beautiful and really quite open. We enjoyed a picnic by the Mara river and a short walk on foot (guides with rifles available). While visiting my friends’ family, we did our own safari drive in Lake Nakuru National Park- it was l late afternoon/ early evening and just beautiful. It was really exciting to see rhinos amongst a herd of buffaloes and lions which were really active rather than lounging in the sun. It was sad to see the effects of climate change though- my friends remember the lake being pink with flamingos when they were younger, but there are now far, far fewer- still enough to be exciting for a foreigner!
Aside from safaris, my real highlight were the Kenyan people and their hospitality - I feel very lucky to have friends who helped me to discover their beautiful country, traditions and culture. I feel sure I will be back.

AMAZING BREATHLESS COUNTRY WITH A HUGE AMOUNT OF THIGS TO IMPROVE
I never expected how much and deeply this country impressed us.
We have been for two weeks in Nairobi, Massai Mara Nakuru Naivasha Hell´s Gate Mombassa Diani Beach, and Lamu.
No words to describe all the wild beauty of the country
Six National parks, big five, ugly five, elephants orphanage, and giraffe orphanage, snake park...
We meet people Massai and Kikuyu and are with them (out of the tourist ambiance) and speak with foreign residents from Italy Spain and England.
We read the history of the country and visited Nairobi's museums where our guide explain us much more than a book.
We feel very safe
But, it's so obvious that the country needs to improve a lot of things in order to attract tourism to visit this impressive beautiful, and historical country beyond visiting national parks.
Roads, trains, unexisting public transport, cleaning and appearance of the cities and beaches (look at the capital)
Nonetheless, I'll be back the soon as I can
