Good travel destination
I consider Kenya was a good travel destination, I had the chane to go on safari, see the Kilimanjaro, visit a Maasai community and fly a hot air ballon. While all the activities where great and I had the chance to see/do things I haven't done in other places, I must say it is the 4th African country I visit and this is not my favourite destination for safaris. But overall, it is a good place and destination.

Very Impressed with the People!
We toured Nairobi for 2.5 days, then did a 3.5 day safari to Amboseli, Tsavo West and Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary before going to our next destination. Apparently most tourists don't spend any time Nairobi, but after coming all the way to Kenya... we wanted to meet more Kenyans and see the modern culture as well as the typical safari things.
One criticism: the transit busses in Nairobi that emit almost pure black smoke exhaust that's hard not to breathe in. That wasn't great, but everything else: our safari, the national museum in Nairobi, the US Embassy blast site & memorial, interacting with the locals (almost everyone speaks English), the entire experience was fascinating.
Some people say there's danger in going out at night in Kenya. If you're with the right people to guide you on where to go and how to get there, and you're not doing anything to draw attention to yourself and your group, you can go out virtually anywhere, night or day. Just do it under the guidance of trustworthy locals and the experience is well worth it. Kenya really impressed us. Would love to go back again!

Great wildlife, great people, great country
Travelling in mid-May we expected to see some rain. Not a drop!! The grass was high in places in the Masai but this did not deter our game viewing. Fantastic sightings from the moment of entry. Amboseli has no long grass as is mainly swamplands so the wildlife and birdlife are prolific. Even Mount Kilimanjaro made an appearance.. Be aware there is a lot of travelling between parks..we did Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Amboseli over 6 days. They are some distance apart so you do clock up the miles over the days. I would definitely go back and spend longer at each place. Nairobi is a typical large city and the traffic was manic at times. But we were not driving. We hired a taxi for the day to visit Sheldrick orphanage, Giraffe Centre and various local places which cost $100 (4 passengers) which is the ideal way to travel

Full of animals
The tour in the masai mara was amazing also the guide was the best but we paid for a luxury camp and it was EMPTY, even though the personal was super kind, the food was reheated and they didn't even have a cold beer when we asked for. the wine was also open for we don't know how many days, and we end up paying for something that was very below our expectations. Fortunately the guide was the best, so that's why I'm putting 3 stars.

A fantastic country full of contrasts
Kenya is a country that, with virtues and defects, is worth visiting. The organization of the safaris is excellent and the guides make an effort to see many animals, especially the big five.

Absolutely the Best Choice For My First Solo Trip
I was excited and then nervous when I took the leap and booked my airline tickets, hotels, experiences and safaris in Kenya on my own as a 56 year old woman. It was my first ever solo trip and my first time to visit Africa half a world away. Kenya was AMAZING! The people in Kenya are universally friendly, kind and the best hosts I have ever encountered. So many people extended themselves to make sure I was well taken care of throughout my trip. Not only did I get to enjoy the scenic beauty and animals in Amboseli and the Mara, but the many Kenyans I met during my two week stay will live in my heart and memory for the rest of my life. Don’t hesitate just visit Kenya!

Safari like what you see in the nature documentaries
We had so much fun in Kenya. We had the best luck of all time and saw every animal we could possibly want on our 8 day safari. The tourism business is great. We felt safe the entire time. The service was great at all 5 hotels- we thought maybe it was a little much and that every time a hotel employee looked at you there was the expectation of a tip. So that was maybe a little pressure especially when hotels don't have ATMs and you're in the middle of a national park so you run out of cash! But overall, this was the trip of a lifetime and we had a fantastic time with AMazing Memories Safaris!

Absolutely worth a visit (or more)
I visited Nairobi, Masai Mara and Mombasa.
Nairobi is a beautiful city with a lot of tourist attractions.
I visited KICC. Beautiful view.
National Museum. (With a guide)So exiting.
Giraf Center. Very fun to feed the girafs.
Masai Mara is beautiful and full of exiting experiences. Even the Jeep ride there is full of beautiful scenery.
We had a nice "hotel" AA Logde. Lovely pool, super cabins and good food. Very nice staff.
And Safari is an undescrible experience. Super exiting is how i will describe it with few words.
Mombasa is nice and calm. Very hot. But i think its mostly for beach vacation. Good food, wonderful beaches.
All together people all over are very friendly and helpful.
And they all speak english wich is a BIG plus.
Im gonna come back for sure.

Wildlife beauty at its best
I visited Kenya in the month of April to celebrate my Son's birthday & a true animal lover. So we decided there cannot be a better way than celebrating his special day in the middle of the jungle & with the best wildlife on this planet & to our surprise it was much better than what we had expected.
It was a lifetime experience & a non forgettable one.
From the game drive, to the scenic beauty to the stay & even the food everything was exceptional.
Our biggest concern was on the food as my wife being a vegetarian we were carrying a lot of ready to cook food but the food what we got in both the resorts were so amazing that we end up not even opening a single packet of food that we were carrying with us.
Also, the hospitality was amazing and we faced no issues during our stay.
I would like to thank our tour operator "Extramile Unique Adventures" for taking care of everything from the time we landed till our departure. A special thanks to our Tour Guide "James" as his name he is a Jem of a person.
