Maximum wildlife and great people
We booked a 3 night Masai Mara safari with Bigmac Safaris. Having lived in South Africa for a few years we are not strangers to Africa or safaris. The Masai Mara proved to be fantastic game viewing. It can get busy with other safari vehicles but 99% of guides are polite to other drivers/guides and they all keep each other informed of good locations and move around animals with care. The quality of the lodge and food was good. I would recommend Kenya for a first time safari because of the sheer number of animals you are likely to encounter. Kenyan people are friendly and always willing to go the extra mile.

We saw Python, elephants, buffalos, lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, zebras, giraffes, wildebeests, gazelles, crocodiles and hippos. We also visited Massai village to learn about their culture . Our dreams come true and it was breathtaking
Incredible experience! If you hesitate stop it and book your safari trip with hyrax. Together with 2 friends we decided to choose 6 days safari in Masai Mara, Amboseli and lake Naivasha. The amount of animals we saw was undescribable. We saw big 5, hundreds of thousands antelope and zebras during the great migration. But the most incredible experience was view of 44 elephants walking thru dry Amboseli lake. Everything because our driver and guide Patrick! He knew everything, was very patient and he shares his love to wild life to us. Car was comfortable even when driving for 10 hours. We upgraded our accommodations and it was a great choise. Everyone during our trip were very friendly and helpful. This 6 days I will remember to the end of my life!

Awesome. God had fun and a sense of humor when creating the country, it's animals and birds.
The safaris by African Paradis Safaris LTD were awesome, 9 of 10. Each park had its own beauty and we saw all the game possible, in incredible quantity. Our guide, Lawrence Muthee, was knowledgeable and ensured that we were always cared for and saw the best possible. Each lodge that we stayed in was a 4* or better. The tent was "gampling" and fun. At no time did we feel any concerns, except that we may not tip enough. I tried to pick a favorite park but couldn't. If we had to shorten our trip, we might skip Lake Naishava. The cultural visit to the Maasai village was another highlight. When we return, we will use the same company and guide. We took an upgrade with a balloon ride. It was worth the added expense. We visited Tsavo East, Amboseli, Lake Naishava, Maasai Mara, Lake Nokuru, Aberdare, and Samburu. Everyone we met was eager to be of assistance.
We went to Zimbabwe and took a game drive there. It was 2 on a scale of 1-10. The Falls was huge and nice, but, after you've seen the water fall down, it's anti-climatic. Not worth the expense. Not much else to do or see.

Super nice country, lots of animals, nice open people
Three days wildlife in Masai Mara were great, easy booking and reliable with Axis Africa Safaris. Lake Naivasha and nearby volcano also very nice. Diani Beach top! We reached it comfortable with train from Nairobi to Mombasa and Uber to Diani. Everywhere upper range hotels but also budget. Travelling by busses is easy. People are always helpful and like to talk. There are many sights left to visit. We have to come back.

Amazing country, amazing people, one of my favorite destinations. Get off the beaten trails.
September was a great month to travel to Keyna, it was not too hot as it is the end of their short rainy season. The roads were not muddy, no mosquitos this time of year so no malaria to worry about. First time in the 12 years I have been going to Kenya that I did not receive even one bug bite. It was cool at night and I actually slept under a blanket for the first time in 12 years. My experience with the local villages is that they are loving and kind and very appreciative of the little favors done for them.
Wildlife is plentiful, even off the animal reserves. I highly suggest every tourist get off the beaten path and go slumming in the villages, you will love it! Eat the local foods, and stay in the non-tourist places for a true taste of Kenya.

Lovely country
Amazing national parks. We went to Tsavo, Amboseli and Maasai Mara and all of them were surprising. Kenya really cares its parks.
Fantastic
A beautiful country with a lot of nice people, stunning landscape, the admirable Mpesa and other tech innovation. A country with huge potentials and problems as well.

Wildlife and culture
Perfect for wildlife Safari, multicultural full of life cities, really nice people.
You really can feel and see how climate changes are affecting the world.
You can really get to know kenians and reflect on how basic is not always warranted.

Massai mara 3day safari and lake navaisha
We did a three day safari with meektrails and our guide antony.
We were picked up and dropped off at Nairobi airport all included in the price.
Our guide was antony who was excellent throughout in being flexible and getting us to see all the big amimals and the small ones aswell!
Game drives in the massai mara are an incredible experience and would recommend to anyone, especially worth getting up early for the dawn drives as this is when the animals are most active.
Lake navaisha was good but less spectacular although worth the visit if you have time. We stayed at AA lodge which was functional and reasonable but not luxurious.
