Kenya is an amazing country with beautiful, loving people especially the Maasai people.
Stayed for 2 days in a Maasai village. Will never forget the Maasai people or that experience. I was a woman traveling alone and felt completely comfortable. My Maasai Warrior guide, Solomon, stayed by my side and I felt totally comfortable. Parks were beautiful especially Maasai Mara National Park that had the most diversity of animals and the most gorgeous landscape. I opted to do the drive from Nairobi out to the Mara rather than the plane ride. Was able to see the local people by the side of the road and get the true flavor of the culture and living conditions. Weather was mostly gorgeous. Lake Naivasha was pretty. I definitely want to go back again and spend more time with the Maasai people in their village. Tour operator Namayiana Safaris was fabulous!! Very attentive! TOTALLY AWESOME!!!

Kenya has a very friendly and ambitious service industry struggling to overcome societal blight
Wildlife viewing is fabulous, whether in the famed Maasai Mari preserve or in less well-known places like Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, or Amboseli. Neither the roads leading to the major national parks nor the parks themselves have smooth roads or driving paths, which sort of adds to the adventure. We enjoyed many a "free" full-body African massage while on the road, and the question of what would happen if the vehicle somehow broke down--in the wildlife areas-- was indeed answered: friendly tour operators from other orgs pitch in and take in whatever passengers they have room for. While our expectations for the accommodations at the budget tent camps were low to begin with, we were actually pleasantly surprised by what was offered. Yes, it was simple, but we slept well, the camps were quiet at night, and the food was ample. The night sky, away from light pollution, was spectacular. Two things were a bit disturbing: 1) the amount of litter strewn everywhere (except in the national parks themselves)--what would it take to institute a national clean-up campaign? and 2) the constant bombardment to purchase this or that trinket by folks peddling their wares. I guess that's the natural response from a people who have learned that tourism is one of the most profitable ventures going (one of our safari drivers was a mechanical engineer who saw that the income from tourism far outstripped the income from practicing his profession).

Best destination for Safaris!
We went on a Safari to Kenya in August to Masai Mara, Hell’s Gate and Nakuru National Park with the intent of seeing the Big 5, we saw them and a whole lot more! Back of Africa- our tour operator left no stone unturned in providing us the best dream vacation. Allan is super professional- timely in his emails, detailed and very personable! Our driver on the Safari- George made sure we saw all that we wanted to and much more! He’s very knowledgable, fluent in English and very attentive to what we wanted to see. We ended our safari with a leisure two days in Mombasa- the place I grew up and call home. 40 years later , it’s still the best place to me! It is an experience worth going on- I highly recommend a safari to Kenya for animal and action lovers!

Very good experience!
We didn't know what to expect as this was our first Safari trip but the team from Silver Spark made everything smooth for us, from start to finish of our trip. Abongo, our main point of contact, was extremely polite and and always available for our questions and needs, even before the Safari started. We even had some issues with the payment through Wise transfer but Abongo was extremely friendly and professional and didn't reach out to us on this issue until the end of our trip, so that it wouldn't disturb our experience. I have to say that the way he handled the situation left a very good impression in me. Also, for our Masai Mara accomodation, there was a problem with the previously booked location and we were upgraded to a luxury camp, which was really appreciated and once again dealt very professionaly by Abongo.
A final word to our guide Nicky who made this experience amazing. He was extremely knowledgeable and had a lot of experience, even with unforseen issues that can happen during a Safari! He was always polite and respectful, always trying to give us the best experience possible. He asked us what we would like to see and he didn't rest until we saw all of them (the big 5!). He made us feel safe throughout the journey and always kept the good mood going on. I'll definetely ask for Nicky and Silver Spark the next time me or anyone I know decides to do a Safari in Kenya!

4 day 3 night safair in Masa Mari
Saw awesome wildlife. Just about everything I could ask for except for seeing a Rhino, which I hear is very rare. The team was very helpful in handling a small mix up and got me to the airport in plenty of time for international flight.

Great wildlife and friendly people
After traveling to other African countries, I found Kenya to be more friendly, safer, more comfortable, and very affordable. The wildlife viewing was also the best I've encountered. All of my accommodations were booked through Reny Safaris and they are the only operator I'll recommend to friends.
