Unforgettable experience with great safari driver
We (couple) booked 7 days safari (2nights in Masai Mara <with hot air balloon "highly recommended"> , 1 in Lake Nakuru, 1 in Lake Naivasha and 2 nights in Amboseli).
Communication was very easy with immediate response. we agreed with Robert from office to pick up from the airport (one day before safari) with full day trip in Nairobi. It was great. The driver was just a driver not a tour guide.
The next day, he pick up from the hotel to start the safari with "Edward Lore" a great driver and tour guide. He was friendly, answered all the questions. It was a budget safari and we really enjoyed the whole experience. The accommodations are basic but fit to the purpose, except in Amboseli (Kimana Camp) which was really terrible. But Edward help us to find another camp in late hour (about 12 AM) where we have spent the 2 days. For vehicle, we were 7 in Masai Mara & Nakuru, after that only 2 couples.
In the last day, we agreed with Edward to drop us in Emali to get the train to Mombasa.
Finally, it was unforgettable experience with very friendly people. Thanks a lot.

Expectations Exceeded
I saw more animals than I had anticipated. At times it felt surreal. Weather in July was perfect. It was not too hot, nor cold. Accommodations the safari provided were okay. It varied from place to place. Our guide Edward was excellent. The safari set-up felt unorganized at times but I would still recommend it.

good
1.the only pity thing is that we did not see wildbeast crossing the mara river.
2.very good hotel and tent during the whole journey. But the hotel in Bogoria (Lake Bogoria Spa Resort)I have to say that is too bad, we are shocked. Too many flies around food and too many bugs inside room. Very dark and crowded and noisy lobby
3. dusty road between those main destination
4.very professional guide Join of African Horizons

The scene is beautiful, but the guide and the travel agency (Kenya walking)is cheater。
Just remember this name “kenya walking”,the travel agency has taken 8307 dollars from me ,but the driver said he has no money ,so he can't go to the park unless we pay another 3000dollars. we turn back to the travel office and the door is closed。we have go the policestation, but till now no response for it。It is a very bad experience。

Fantastic Journey
Traveling around and finding animals was interesting. The weather was very good. Not too cold or too hot. Also the places we stayed were very kind and neat. Our driver was nice and provided lots of information.

Kenya: must-see country for wildlife lovers
The wildlife in Kenya is second to none. Especially recommended the parks of Samburu and of course Masai Mara.
Just a small disappointment: very few flamingos in Lake Nakuru. The sunsets are beautiful, as in many places in Africa.
Maximum punctuation for our guide Eric, Beacon Safaris, not only for his ability to take us to the best points to see wildlife, but also for his experience, ability to solve problems and his respect and consideration for animal life.

Magical Kenya
Beautiful wildlife and landscapes in Masai Mara. We got to see the Big five animals. Beautiful ake nakuru and Naivasha. The kenyan hospitality very good , the roads are in ad condition most of the way to Masai Mara from Nairobi, only few km are paved. Accommodation in the lodge near the Masai Mara park was very good. Very memorable experience.

Experience of a lifetime.
Absolutely stunning seeing the wildlife roaming free in its natural habitat. We visited in Kenya's winter months so the weather was ideal for us - not too hot.
Our accommodation was fine, tented but with "en suite" shower and bathroom. The food was remarkably good in the circumstances even the morning when the electricity generator failed.
The star of the show was our guide, Peter, who was knowledgeable, funny and very considerate throughout our time with him.

We loved Kenya
Everything about this holiday was fantastic! We decided on Spirit of Kenya for our safari and this proved to be a very good decision. Liaison with Tiago from the start in deciding on the itinerary, accommodation etc was outstanding with emails replied to immediately and helpful suggestions and information always provided. Paying the deposit by transfer was straightforward. Transfers to and from the airport were included and Moses was a good driver - returning to the airport he even parked up and walked us to our queue to go into security. On the safari we had George as our guide and he was outstanding - extremely professional, friendly and a very safe driver. We had a van with a pop up roof and it was able to do everything that the more expensive land cruisers could do. We had a 7 day (6 nights) Safari and visited Amboseli, Lake Naivasha, Mara and Lake Nakuru - all were fantastic. Accommodation and food were great throughout (we chose Comfort ‘Level 2’ from the 4 levels offered and it was perfect for us). We would not hesitate to recommend this company for a safari - we had no issues whatsoever. We stayed in Nairobi for a few days before and after the safari and we visited Nairobi National Park, the Giraffe Centre, the Elephant Sanctuary, the Karen Blixen Museum and Karura Forest. We also had a couple of pool days at the Intercontinental, where we were staying and which was also very good, with excellent security and friendly staff. The weather was generally sunny and warm (around 22- 25 degrees during the day in the 2 weeks we were there (cooler early in the morning and late evening). Kenya is a beautiful country and we found the people we met to be so friendly.
