Kenya is amazing, a combination of modernity and nature.
The whole tour was excellent, the safari in the Maasai Mara Reserve, the visit to Lake Naivasha and Nakuru National Park. It was a magical experience. Richard our guide, a very nice person, and he was always looking for us to see the best of these places.

Both Nairobi and the Wildlife Reserves are beautiful and fantastic.
We live in The Netherlands. My 21 year old son and I (father) went for two weeks, 1 week in Nairobi and the 2nd on Safari, to see 3 wildlife reserves. The people in Nairobi were very welcoming and very nice. In our hotel and everywhere else, everyone was very helpful. The city is beautiful and interesting.
The reserves were everything we were hoping for and more, especially Masai Mora. We had a very good driver / guide for our safari, which makes all the difference. Really fantastic to see the animals. Accommodations in Nairobi and during safari were all excellent. Food is good, and service is excellent. There is absolutely nothing I could say about our shared experience in Kenya - a real opportunity for some good ole father-son bonding - which would be less than laudatory. I intend to return soon!

Incredible nature and wildlife
Our trip to Kenya with my husband and 3 children (15,13,11) exceeded every expectation. The safari was amazing, we saw every animal up close. Our guide was brilliant and our accommodation was fabulous.
I can't recommend it highly enough.

Perfection is the word for it.
The whole Trip was so wonderful. You need more time/day to be able to visit as many places as posible.
We were lucky we had the best of the amboseli and tsavo east.

Awesome, breathtaking, unbelievable is how my wife and I describe our trip.
Kenya offers a diversity of culture, environments, and a snapshot of a country experiencing the impact of climate change at the same time tremendous growth and an expansion. In Nairobi, a city of more almost 5 million, there are tall buildings going up everywhere. We never realized the elevation of much of Kenya, at least where we traveled, is above 5,000 feet or that a typical day is 12 hours of sunlight and night. Traveling back and forth across while in Ol Pajeta Conservancy the equator was an unexpected treat.
Flying between the major parks is much quicker than the long drives, but doing so misses the rural areas, massive farm lands, and the towns at major intersections where locals sell almost everything along the roadways, including the freshest of fruit and vegetables. Going by car, you share the road with a variety of transportation from trucks, large buses, crowded vans that travel between somewhere and somewhere else, donkey carts and small motorcycles that carry people and their lives. We saw two men on a motorcycle and between them an auto transmission and one guy had a washer/dryer balanced behind him.
We stopped at Thompson Waterfall for a stunning view of the power of water in an area surrounded by arid landscape. The conservancies and reserves are different in topography and landscape but they overpower the visitor by how far one can see. On two nights while in Masai Mara we had thunderstorms and the lightening provided an momentary stunning view of the landscape.
The people we met; hotel employees, clerks in stores, local vendors along the roadways, the staff in the lodges were friendly, wanted to know where we traveled from and happy we were visiting Kenya.
We had an amazing trip, a wonderful time in Kenya thanks to Safaribookings, com and our selected tour company, Amazing Memories Safaris. We have over 2,700 hundred pictures to remind us of our visit.

Great Driver & Lovely Animals
Kenya has been wonderful to us. Tsavo East has so many elephants and we had the luck to go there in January so many baby elephants roaming around.
Even got to see a hypo and cheetas, which are quite rare

Beautiful scenery & wildlife
The scenery for safari in the Maasai Mara in Kenya seems to be endless and is beautiful. Tourism staff are very friendly and helpful. Overall safari in Kenya is quite pricey though, and in my opinion the experience could be improved to ensure value for money. When compared to other luxury safaris that I have been on in South Africa and other Southern African countries like Botswana, Namibia etc, my luxury safari in Kenya did not have many of the amenities and personalized services that I experienced in other countries. But the Maasai Mara is definitely recommended for a “bucket list” experience.

Need to return
Safari is not only a journey in space dimension but also in time dimension: you'll se scenes without human influence that are the same from many Centuries.

Kenya is a great place to have an adventure.
I did a private safari. Kenya was a wonderful country to visit. I found most people there to be approachable. It has a very tourism heavy economy so it has a lot of services and amenities that help travelers enjoy their trip.
I was lucky enough to see all of the big five in one day at Masai Mara. I had less luck with wildlife and bird watching after that, but you cannot control where animals will show up. Despite that I saw all of the animals and enjoyed the landscape.
If I did it again I would try to stay at lodges inside the parks. That way you can go for an early morning game drive, return for lunch and relaxation, and the do an evening game drive. I would also try to spend several days at one or two parks instead of trying to visit as many different parks as possible.
Visits to Massai villages are a must. I loved taking a boat tour at Lake Naivasha to see birds. I did get great sunrise pictures on a hot air balloon ride. However, for the cost, I would probably skip it in hindsight given I had no luck spotting animals doing it.
Make sure you have sufficient cash in small bills for tipping staff. I did not and was embarrassed when I had to find people later to tip them. Also, be prepared to haggle over prices, especially souvenirs. It is better to have someone with you while shopping.
Do bring lip balm/chapstick. Even with it my lips dried out. Goggles might be better than sunglasses when it gets dusty. Unless you are doing some very serious photography, a tripod probably won't be used because you spend most of your time in the vehicle. A sleeping bag is probably not needed at lodges. All of mine had comfy beds with sufficient blankets.
