A must see for all. It was a highlight of our trip to South Africa. Just kept getting better and better the further we ventured in. So many animals to see.

It was our first experience in Kruger NP and we really wanted to see the Big Five, that was our main goal. We entered through Phabeni Gate on our way through Skukuza. We stayed in the Kruger Safari Lodge, where the staff was really friendly and helpful. Also Skukuza was a nice rest camp with some nice restaurants, we ate at the Cattle Baron and at the restaurant in the Skukuza Safari Lodge, both were really nice. The Cattle Baron had a lot of choice, including some South African specialities.
On one day we had a private tour with Elephant Herd Tours & Safaris, which we can highly recommend. The guide knew the park like it's pocket and knew where we could find rhinos, but also had some good tips to spot leopards.
We managed to see all big five, there were so many elephants and buffalos, especially near the bigger waterholes. Also a lot of lions in the southern part of the park (below Tshokwane). We didn't move further up than Tshokwane.
The views were beautiful, around every corner you have another landscape which makes it so beautiful. It's a very good park for self-drive safaris as lots of the other drivers wants to share information about their sightings.

My trip to the Kruger-Nationalpark in particular and to South Africa in general was spontaneously undertaken. Considering this, I had a great experience from the flexible booking option online at home to the transport from and back to Johannesburg with kind drivers to the unique experience with all the animals I saw with Shandrack, who really was more a friend and buddy than merely a guide and who could explain something substantial about every animal in the park! Next time I would consider doing a trip for four days, because you can never see enough. Another highlight was the good food at the lodge, where I stayed. All staff and personell I ever encountered was extremely friendly and service-oriented.

Our group spent one day with two four wheel drive rovers (10 seats plus chauffeur) and the Krüger Park guides. For me it was the first time in Afrika and I had high hopes for this outing. Guide taught us the basics and was very knowledgeable about the wild life and flora. Our bus missed the leopard but we saw ample of wildlife, including hippos, crocodiles, a pride of lions, several troops of elephants, giraffes, four types of antilopes some baboons and hyenas, warthogs, wildebeest, water Buffalos and some birds. Lunch was also well arranged. A beautiful day

The mothership of South Africa’s parks, Kruger is more organised and has more variety of accommodation than any other park. It also has a HUGE number of animals with the Big Five and every other kind of five you can think of rustling around in the bush. Kruger also has a sublime beauty that changes in different sectors – in general the north is the wildest section.

Yes, it could be called Africa for beginners, however it also has wilder offerings, such as bush walks in some beautifully scenery

Our stay in Letaba camp was a disgrace, Ive booked 2 Charlet number B7 and B8 from 18 till morning of 25 July 2024, Tried my best to transfer to any other camp in the park , but unfortunately all booked. The 2 reception ladies got a huge attitude problem, no help at all.Lets start at B7 ( so called wheelchair friendly) Shower -the hand shower loosen from the wall, shower chair way to small, only one handrail, toilet keeps flashing water, NON STOP.the floor inside the Charlet NOT LEVEL.only one bedlamp, poor lighting in the charlet. Ramp is way to steep.LINEN OF A TERRIBLE POOR QUALITY, Towels is good to wipe of the windscreen for vechiles. Charlet number B8...... sliding door ....... its a PICK UP door , not working, Towels so hard and old .... no where a place to buy new Towels. Restaurant in camp, don't know how to serve the cocktails on the menu, waiting more than 1 hour to be served lunch , waiting 1 and half hour to be served breakfast. Waiter refuse to clean the table because like she said : If you clean the table now the birds will poop on it anyway. Its a shame that Letaba camp is part of the Beaty of our Kruger National Park. Cleaning staff : AMAZING , helpfull and friendly, Like Respect- one of the workers at the petrol station.

The number of wild animals I could see there is great, I'm so happy I chose this park for my first safari in South Africa!
Its scenic beauty is unmatched and the park is organized like a little city among the animals, which is awesome!
