Kamuzu International Airport (LLW) will most likely be your entry point into the country. The airport is situated about 26km/16mi from the capital, Lilongwe. Some international flights terminate at Chileka International Airport (BLZ), which is 16km/10mi from Blantyre and is better situated for Liwonde.

Liwonde is located in the south of Malawi, close to the town of the same name. The main entrance gate lies 245km/152mi southeast of Lilongwe and 125km/78mi north of Blantyre. The drive from Lilongwe takes 4 to 5 hours* and from Blantyre it’s up to 3 hours*.
