Accessible Majete Wildlife Reserve can fit easily into any Malawi itinerary.

Chileka International Airport (BLZ), 16km/10mi from Blantyre, is the most convenient point of entry to Malawi for accessing Majete. However, there’s a greater choice of flights to Kamuzu International Airport (LLW), which lies about 26km/16mi from the capital city of Lilongwe, but much further from Majete.

Located in the south of the country, Majete is 70km/43mi from Blantyre via Chikwawa, and 380km/236mi from Lilongwe. The drive from Blantyre takes up to 2 hours*. From Lilongwe, the drive passes through Blantyre and takes about 6 hours*.

As part of your package, your tour operator will normally book your domestic and charter flights.

There are currently no scheduled flights to Majete, but Nyasa Express offers charter flights to the reserve.
