Mapungubwe National Park Best Time To Visit

Excellent    Good    Fair    Poor

A good time to visit Mapungubwe is from March to May after the rains when the air is free of dust, and the heat is less oppressive than in the middle of summer. Rainfall is scarce most of the year, but when it does occur, it’s during the summer. As the park is very dry, wildlife viewing doesn’t depend much on the seasons.

Best Time May to September (Winter)
High Season Never (The park never gets busy)
Low Season Never (The park never gets busy)
Best Weather March to May (Less hot than mid-summer, but nights are still warm and the air is still fresh from the summer rains)
Worst Weather November to February (It gets very hot)

October to April Summer

Best Time To Go by Major Park
