Your point of entry to Madagascar is usually Ivato International Airport (TNR) in the capital city of Antananarivo (Tana). If you’ve booked a tour, you’ll most likely be met here and transferred to your hotel before heading off the next day to start your adventure. Due to the size of the country and the condition of the roads, most people fly around different parts of the country.
Travel to Marojejy National Park is quite easy. The most direct way to Marojejy is to fly to Sambava in northeast Madagascar. The park is 70km/43mi inland from there and the driving time is about 2 hours*.
