This was my first time in Maasai Mara and I loved everything about it. From the scenic landscapes to the famed big five, it has so much to offer. I had such a thrilling experience. I will definitely visit again.

Absolutely stunning wildlife but too many visitors/cars. Sometimes it feels wrong that cars disrupt the hunt of the animals or follow them too long and with way too many vehicles so that it gets annoying for the animals. This park should be restricted to a lower visitor number.

Lots of animals of different species, wide plains and hills with acacia trees. Africa as it should be.

We stayed at Talek Bush camp. The guides are marvellous, they are experienced and they know the terrain like the back of their hands! We were a photographic group and they understand our needs and we are all very pleased with their service. Accomodation is basic but the amenities are adequate for we were only in the camp for meals and sleeping. We encountered good weather with only one rainy day. Sunrise and sunsets were amazing most days except a couple of overcast days. The wildlife is simply amazing ! We saw the big five , countless Wildebeests , zebras, giraffes, elephants, rhinos , many species of antelopes, hippos, mongoose, wild cats, hyenas, cheetahs, leopards, lions and cubs and many many more! We also experienced some fantastic kills by the big cats and how they fight amongst themselves for the spoilts. We also saw an amazing range of bird life from tiny ones to big flightless ones! Most of the sightings are quite near and the rangers are always present to ensure a safety buffer zone is present between the jeeps and animals. A visit to the Masai village is also a highlight.

Masai Mara is an amazing place, and it has the advantage (I think) of remaining wet and green pretty much throughout the year. When my wife and I visited in September, we saw huge numbers of wildebeest, zebras, buffalo, and other ungulates, as well as many lions, giraffes, hippos, hyenas, cheetahs, leopards, and a large variety of birds. Although we visited several other Kenyan parks and also the highlights of northern Tanzania (Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Lake Manyara, and Tanagire), Masai Mara was our favorite destination. It is much smaller than the Serengeti to the south, but it still offers stunning wildlife viewing and a fantastic safari experience.
