Do the hot air balloon ride over the Masai Mara, trust me! We were able to watch the sun rise with the animals and saw them migrating and moving together towards Tanzania due to the seasons changing. This game park was stunning and huge!!! So many animals and they don’t even care when you get so close to them. You can’t miss this park!

If there is one place to visit in Kenya, this is it. Never disappoints with its large variety of wildlife. Everybody should try to experience the migration at least once. Even if not migration season still very much worth visiting.

Masai Mara was terrific, especially for the lions, cheetahs and leopards.
It is also so lovely

Masaai Mara the car broke down and was being fixed for 3 hours. While we waited at a village gas station with nothing to do around, this means we missed the safari. for the first day. The only animals we saw were on arrival to Keerok lodge.

Accommodation at Keerok was shady low standard. There was no water provided on the 1st day and we had to buy water for (300 shillings each 3$ each) at the lodge. It is only after telling the driver-that he took it upon himself to go and buy water. We paid 1,250$ dollars per person for this trip. I have to add that my mother in law is 70 years old. she had to endure this with no special attention.

Keerok seems like a hotel that was good in the old days but today-has lost its glory. The staff at Keerok were super rude and unbothered about talking to guests.

Masai Mara is not to be missed. Gerard was always willing, our tastes and interests. He seems to maintain the enthusiasm of a first day. Loves his country and his work, knows a lot of animals and the places you visit. It is a very careful driver (in fact, he was excellent in two dangerous situations created by other truck drivers).

I don’t think we can remember the number of animals we saw: Lions, Lions, cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes (many!), wildebeests, gazelles of various types, topis, zebras and elephants (thousands of elephants in Amboseli), buffaloes, ostriches, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, birds of all kinds... Gerard was always attentive and did everything supremely well.

Don’t miss the balloon flight... a unique experience that is well worth the big bucks it costs. Excellent Casey, the pilot of a Hot Air Safaris.
