Masoala National Park has a very wet year-round climate. The driest weather is from August to November and these are the best months for hiking. Many lemurs have their young around October and November. Between July and the end of September, humpback whales stay in Antongil Bay to have their calves. The best time for spotting reptiles is from September to February.
