Mitsinjo Forest can be visited throughout the year, although the best time is probably during the shoulder months of April, May, October and November. Indri and most other lemurs can be spotted at any time. However, you might want to avoid the worst of the rains from January to March. This is cyclone season and torrential downpours can interfere with activities and forest tracks can be very muddy. The cold dry months from June to September are not as good for spotting reptiles and dwarf lemurs as they are less active during this time.

Best Time April, May, October and November (Mild weather, less rain)
High Season July, August and December holidays (The forest gets busy)
Low Season January to March (Low-season rates might apply; it is less busy)
