My first safari in Africa- we did not see that much, but it was a very neat experience and I did get some glimpses of warthogs and ostriches, although no big game. We ate dinner at a restaurant there, which was beautiful at night.

Game drive are cheap, and you can see animals quite close. Only a short taxi ride from Gaborone. Don't miss the cheetah encounter and dinner at the Mokolodi restaurant. Wild rhinos will eat by the restaurant in the evenings. Can try spending a night in the chalet if you are into that.

Mokolodi was great, but I would recommend Moremi, Chobe, or the Delta over it.
