Mudumu National Park is best visited during the Dry season (May to October), with ideal conditions from May to September. In the drier months, the foliage thins out and animals are drawn to permanent water sources as water dries up in the bush. This makes it easier to find animals. In the Wet season (November to April), animals tend to spread out among the thicker vegetation, making wildlife viewing more difficult.
