Outstanding Service
We were in Kigali with a day before our flight home.
Emile Lion was recommended by the young lady at the hotel desk. It was evening and I did not have high hopes for finding a day tour but called Emile.
After making the call, explaining what we were looking for, Emile made the recommendations he thought would interest us.
Per his recommendation, we took a full day trip to Akagera National Park and were very happy we did.
The entire experience was excellent. Last minute accommodation, helpful and informative guide and well kept equipment.
If an when we return to Rwanda we will be sure to book ANY tours with Emile.

Amazing safari experience with Lion Safaris!
We hired Emile and Lion Safaris to take a large group of my family to a safari at Akagera National Park in Rwanda. The group ranged from very young kids through adults and was a very complicated trip with two separate parties meeting up during the visit. Emile and Lion Safaris were amazing and ensured a wonderful experience for everyone. Emile is also VERY knowledgeable about history, culture and wildlife, so his commentary throughout the drive was very interesting and informative. Working with Emile and Lion Safaris was one of, if not THE highlight of our trip to Rwanda and we would highly recommend him and Lion Safaris.

Knowledgeable and Friendly Tour
Lion safaris' Emile took us for an overnight ride in the Akagera national Park.
It was a great experience and Emile was very knowledgeable about wildlife, nature and geography. We saw many animals on the way and always felt safe.

Great customer service
This was my second safari in Akagera nations park with Lion Safaris and will continue to use them in the future (I live in Rwanda, so great to have a company to recommend when friends and family visit). Lion safaris are reliable, punctual and well-organised and good value for money. I highly recommend them.

Professional and Rewarding!
I took a day trip to Akagera in October 2022 and was very pleased with the professionalism shown by Emile from Lion Safaris. He was well versed with the context of the geography as well as the park. Through a combination of luck and Emile's experience, we were able to see all the big-5 in a single day, including the rare rhinos and a herd of 80 elephants. While this isn't a template to abide by, Emile's efforts in making sure we made the most of our day were crucial in making it a memorable experience for me and my family.

Very good!
We travelled with a toddler of 3 yrs. A long travel that could have been too hectic, was finally a very pleasant one thanks to Emile who made my kid feel very comfortable. Everything went smoothly and the car service was excellent. Definitely recommended

Our tour operator Was caring knowledgeable &thought of every important detail.
We went on a multi day tour of akagera With lion Safaris And had an amazing time. Our expert guide a emile ensured that we had a wonderful experience. we were safe and comfortable at all times during our adventure. While I am adventurous I prefer creature comforts so Emile found just the right balance. We subsequently scheduled another tour during that trip and again had the most wonderful experience. My family has returned to Rwanda For additional visits and always chooses lion safaris.
