THE BEST!!
Had one of the best times of my life going for Kruger Safari, the experience of the place is on one side, the experience of it being absolutely hassle free, so convenient, so hospitable. Its crazy how these guys are working. A very very special thanks to the best guy i met in SA - EDDIE our guide- the Happy Chappy as he calls himself. Make this guy your ambassador. He is just so good, funny and smart. Thanks to Lavender for accomodating all our last minute requests and managing all of it smoothly. 100% recommended.
Ali is a great communicator and has a charming personality.
We did a half day tour from Johannesburg to Pretoria with Ali. The stops were interesting, but Ali made the trip special for us. He was very informative about history, politics and culture. It was like traveling with an old friend, and he gave us personal and detailed answers to all our questions. We highly recommend Ali for anyone visiting the Joburg and Pretoria areas.

I did not have much interaction with the tour operator.
I did a five day trip to Greenfire Lodge in Bulale Reserve near Kruger National Park. Greenfire Lodge was exceptional. The accommodation was gorgeous - secluded chalets cantilevered over a creek bed. The food was delicious, the staff warm and friendly and the morning and evening safaris were simply marvellous. I saw everything! And at close quarters. Incredible!
I had one issue with my arrival, as I didn’t join the tour in Johannesburg and MoAfrika was not very helpful in making alternative arrangements so I had to organise it myself and Greenfire was unaware that they needed to pick me up, but that was the only fly in the ointment.

Unique Experiece
We had a daily tour in Kruger-Park from Hoedspruit with MoAfrica. Our driver was Edie. We were a group of six.
We were positive surprised with the high level of professionalism of our driver, Edie, and not only!
Edie is a great spotter and he is able to recognise animals and birds where we were not able to see anything else than dots somewhere in the bushes. He has great knowledge of the Kruger Park, and of the animals, the birds and the rest of the fauna of this great and huge place.
Definitely, in our following trip in the Park we will book with MoAfrica again and request for Edie to be our driver! We thank Edie for this unique experience.

Very good service for the safari organisation
The communication with the agent was very good and very useful. After I expressed my main interest for ensuite facilities he suggested DUMELA camp site. After this suggestion I didn't have to look further. Dumela is a camping option with ensuite facilities. In the tent there are two single beds and A/C. It is not really glamping but close to it. The beds were made after our first night, something that I wasn't expecting at all.
The evening safari at the Blue Canyon Reserve with Goodmen and Peace was great. We had the opportunity to see rhinos, lions, giraffes... The drive at Kruger National Park with Evance was fantastic. Evance told us some details about the animals but also about the flora.
At Dumela camp we had a problem with the cold water in the shower but it got fixed after we reported it. We didn't use the swimming pool. Both dinners around the fire place were nice and fantastic to have one complimentary glass of wine (the next ones are charge 20R each).
My partner and I did the panoramic route tje last day. It was nice but it felt a bit rushed. Getting down of the vehicle, walk, take few pictures and return to the van. Despite this I will suggest doing it the final day of the stay.
A point for improvement is the communication among all the employees. It happened that we were told a different time for being picked up and the driver was hurrying us up 30 minutes earlier. And a fellow Safari companion was forgotten in her accommodation and almost misses the evening safari. On the last day breakfast was served late so we needed to rush and we weren't provided with cutlery and as there was nobody around we didn't want to invest extra time in walking to the kitchen to request them.
But in general picture , my partner and I had a great time at Dumela camping and with the safaris and the panoramic route organised by MoAfrika.

The people!
Although they definitely need to improve organization and communication skills, I got everything I booked for and more!
I booked a 4 days/3 nights in a tented camp at the Sekekama lodge, which is really new (only 4 months). The camp is basic, but the tents are kept really clean, no mosquitoes inside, bed is comfy, sheets are immaculate, the food was hearty and abundant and a bonfire was done in the evening. All the staff was helpful and extremely kind.
I did a sunset drive on the first day (which was mind blowing) with fearless Peace and Mr Goodman, (Peace even ventured into the bushes to help us spot some white rhinos 😍), and two full days of safari, starting at 5.30am getting back around 6pm, one with Evance and one with Eddy, both very knowledgeable, they answered all our questions and tried hard to let us see all the big 5! In my humble opinion, having seen loads of waterfalls and other deeper canyons, I chose an extra day of safari instead of the Panorama day, as you basically spend most of the day in the van, getting out 5’ for a picture. I preferred an extra chance at spotting the big 5, it was incredible how close and how many there are!
Wifi wasn’t working and signal is pretty weak in that area!
In my pack there was adverted a swimming pool, which is actually in the adjacent camp, but you cannot reach it by yourself as it’s not safe to walk.
