Very enthousiastic about birding, knows a lot, and is fun to be around

We've had 2½ weeks of wildlife/birding with Davis as our guide.
Unfortunately, before we've even met Davis, we've gotten very sick and wanted him to wait till we were better, because, that's what you do in our country.
In Africa it gets serious very fast, so Davis had to be very persistent that we should let him come over and take us to a hospital in Kampala.
What a start of an adventure! 4 days in the hospital, and we were good(enough) to go!

We've visited several national parks, and saw many many animals. Davis was funny, and you als can make fun of him when he might get the car in some trouble (stomkop), but things like that are just great experiences.

It was a great time, except for the sicknesses of course, but thanks to Davis we were safe!

Very knowledgeable especially about the birds but also nature in general.

Had a brilliant birding trip with Davis. He took us to the best sites for birding and we saw the target species, shoebill and green breasted pitta with a lot more species as well as gorillas. We lost a day due to delayed flights and he was able to adjust our route. One of the best bird guides I have come across.

A once in a life time trip which fulfilled all expectations.
5/5

From the outset our trip was well planned, it went at a smooth constant pace and the wildlife was superb. Davis had a huge amount of knowledge about Ugandan wildlife and in a short seven days we notched up over 270 bird species and many mammal species. The variety of landscapes and habitats made for a very enjoyable experience. We had one or two issues with our vehicles on route but our guide dealt with them and kept us on the move. Davis is fun, very knowledgeable and has an incredible repertoire of bird calls. He introduced us to several other guides at various points of the trip who were equally skilled and knowledgeable. This was a great experience in Uganda and would recommend Davis to guide anyone across this superb country.

A very reliable tour guide who responds to the wishes of his guests!
5/5

We spent a week traveling with Kibuga Davis in Uganda at the end of September. Since we first contacted him, he has always answered our questions very quickly. He implemented all of our wishes regarding accommodation and vehicle very well. He is a very good driver, we felt safe with him at all times. Although we don't speak English very well, communication with him worked very well. The accommodations met the standard we wanted. The Land Croiser was also in very good condition. Kibuga not only knows all the birds but also all the other animals very well and helps me to determine the names even after the trip. We visited Mabamba Swamp, Lake Mburo NP, Queen Elizabeth NP, Kibale Forest and Murchison NP. The highlight of our trip was the shoebill sighting.
We are planning another trip with Kibuga for 2024, where we want to look for special birds and monkeys.
We can fully recommend Kibuga Davis as a travel guide.
