Secret Namibia arranged an epic tour for our group of 4. We cannot rate them high enough!
Our trip was 3 weeks long, mostly Nambia. The lodges were spectacular, guides amazing, the beauty of Namibia was over the top. Then we ended with 3 days in Botswana...we will definitely go back and spend more time in Botswana to explore. Every detail was thought thru and the trip could not have been better.

Fantastic Service. Wouldn't book with anyone else!
What an incredible experience we had exploring Namibia! From the moment we started planning the trip with Johan, we knew we were in good hands. He really listened to what we wanted to see and experience, and put together an absolutely perfect two-week itinerary.
The lodges and camps they organised for me and my partner were all top-notch. We stayed in so many luxurious places in Etosha, Damaraland and Swakopmund and could not fault any of them. The service was outstanding and if you're worried about the food don't be because it's stunning, some of the best we've had anywhere in the world.
One of the reasons we booked with Secret Namibia is because they seemed to offer so many different activities and we weren't disappointed.
Seeing the desert-adapted elephants in Damaraland was magical, and climibing the dunes of Sossusvlei at sunrise was surreal. Etosha is everything we thought it would be and we spotted everything from lions to massive herds of elephant and zebra. A special mention to the guides as well because they really made the trip and were so knowledgeable and friendly.
The booking process was also effortless and Johan and his team really went the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect. It was also very reassuring to know that they were available to contact 24/7 on safari and it's clear that this company has lots of experience and incredible connections across Namibia to craft such a seamless high-end experience.
Our only regret is that we never booked for longer as there was still so many places we wanted to explore! Hoping to return to Namibia in the near future and would 1000% book with Secret Namibia again. Fantastic experience.

First Class Experience With Passionate Namibian Experts
We've just got back from a 17-day all-inclusive luxury safari with Secret Namibia and the experience was absolutely amazing.
This wasn't our first family safari, having done one in Kenya back in 2018. However, if I'm being honest, the operator we went with then was pretty lacklustre and left a lot to be desired. We wanted to learn from that experience and make sure we got it right this time especially as Namibia is a place we've wanted to visit for a long time.
As soon as we started researching Secret Namibia we knew they'd be a great fit for us. They're based in Namibia which felt like a huge plus as lots of operators we looked at were located in the UK or US. From their reviews it was also clear that they offered a properly bespoke service which was also a big positive- sometimes with the bigger travel companies you feel like 'just another customer' but this definitely wasn't our experience here.
In terms of the safari, it was everything we could wish for and was planned superbly. We started off in Sossusvlei and moved through places like the Skeleton Coast and Kaokoland before finishing up in Etosha. As a family we are daredevils and love adventure/outdoors activities. Throughout the tour we tried everything from quadbiking through to an incredible boating safari. If you get the chance to go on safari here we also highly reccommend the helicopter tours and the nocturnal game drives as it gives you an entirely different perspective on the landscapes and wildlife.
We opted for all inclusive which was a total game changer. We didn’t have to worry about a thing, which meant more time soaking up the sights and sounds of Namibia, more laughter, and more unforgettable memories.
The places we stayed in were just phenomenal too. Luxury in the wild, I’d call it. You’re out there, in the heart of nature, but with all the comforts you could imagine. Mowani Mountain Camp deserves a shout-out. Waking up to those views was something else – just magical!
Big thanks to Secret Namibia for not just planning our trip, but for crafting an adventure that felt tailor-made for us. Can't wait to go back and do it all over again! If you’re looking for a safari company that truly delivers a personal and thrilling experience, these are your folks- they live and breathe Namibia and it absolutely shines through.

A Safari Dream Come True with SecretNamibia!
When my partner and I first started thinking about a safari in Namibia, we quickly realised we were a bit out of our depth trying to plan it all ourselves. After doing some research online we found SecretNamibia and honestly it's the best decision we made as they helped us create the greatest trip we've ever been on.
From our very first conversation we felt comfortable and at ease. We had a long video call with Johan and he listened carefully to everything we wanted from our safari. Should we focus more on wildlife viewing or landscapes? Did we want to explore the iconic destinations or some off-the-beaten-path gems? How much travelling were we comfortable with? He asked all the right questions and really understood our vision.
In the end we agreed on a two week luxury fly in safari and it was amazing from start to finish. From the moment we landed in Namibia, everything was impeccably planned out. Our flights and transfers went off without a single delay or hitch. The communications from SecretNamibia were also fantastic - we could reach them any time, day or night, which was really reassuring.
Touching on the lodges, they exceeded our wildest expectations. From the second we arrived at each one, we were treated like royalty. The service, the food, the settings- it was all of the highest possible standard. We felt like every one of our desires was beautifully catered for by the wonderful staff in an environment of total bliss and luxury. A special mention in particular to Omaanda and Shipwreck Lodge which were both out of this world.
The activities SecretNamibia organised were the cherry on top. We'll never forget our hot air balloon ride over the desert. And seeing Etosha, the Sossusvlei dunes and Epupa Falls took our breath away - we took some stunning photos so make sure you bring a quality camera.
We honestly can't thank the SecretNamibia team enough for giving us the trip of a lifetime. We looked at other tour operators, but are so glad we went with these guys. Their personalised service, insight and passion for Namibia blew us away and we felt the trip was worth every penny. Having a local company made everything feel really authentic too.
If you're looking for a luxury Namibian safari, I can't recommend SecretNamibia highly enough. These guys know how to craft unforgettable experiences filled with special memories you'll cherish forever.

A well planned tour with an operator who really listen to your needs
Our booking with Secret Namibia was very last minute - we were going to stay with friends in Angola and had an unexpected week free, so decided to visit Etosha. We had very little time to research all the different Safari tour organisers, and settled on Secret Namibia because they had some good reviews, but without knowing much more about them. Something that we liked straight away was being able to make a zoom call to discuss options before making a booking - it can be daunting organising a trip like this on the net from the other side of the world, when you don’t really know who you’re dealing with, so it was great to speak with Chrizell face to face to discuss what we wanted from the trip.
She came up with an initial itinerary for us, then several alternatives (because we weren’t completely sure what we wanted) without any fuss, and all in a very short time before we left.
When we arrived at Windhoek airport Peter was there to greet us with the vehicle, and after a short familiarisation we were on the road. It was our first visit to Namibia, so we didn’t know what to expect, but the roads are very good, well sign posted, and fairly empty, so driving around was easy. The vehicle provided was very comfortable and easy to drive, and with a very welcome fridge in the back. The only real drawback was the satnav - really hard to follow and giving contradictory instructions (not Secret Namibia’s fault - it’s the one that comes with the vehicle, and they’re waiting for an upgrade which may make it more useable). However, there’s a wifi access point included, which worked well whenever there was a 3g signal, which was most of the time. This meant we could use google maps on an iPad, even inside Etosha, so we’d strongly recommend having that with you for the meantime. Secret Namibia also provided a good paper road map in the welcome pack, which came in very useful in the parts of Etosha where there wasn’t a phone signal.
The accommodation was very impressive, and mostly more luxurious than we expected, with some excellent meals as well. We would have happily stayed longer in any of the lodges, but we only had 6 nights so we kept moving on…
One of our party had mobility issues, and uses a walking frame to get around. We’d mentioned this to Chrizell, and she really made sure this got through to the lodges - all the accommodation, including the bathrooms, and where possible the rooms we had were really close to the dining rooms, and had adapted bathrooms where possible. This information doesn’t always get through as you’d want, so hats off to Secret Namibia for making sure it did!
We were visiting in the rainy season, and had read that it can be more difficult to spot wildlife as the vegetation is thicker, and the animals don’t need to congregate around the water holes so much, but we still saw lot of different species, especially in the Eastern part of the park: zebras, giraffes, wildebeest & springbok became almost commonplace, and we also saw lions and a rhino, and a close encounter with herd of elephants, as well as many different bird species.
We really enjoyed ur first visit to Namibia, and hope we can come back one day: if we do, we’d certainly use Secret Namibia again!

Excellent organization and pre tour communication
The tour primarily consisted of an air safari to two upmarket lodges, one in the Namib desert and the other in a private reserve adjacent to Etosha national park. The tour went like clockwork and thoroughly met our expectations. We were particularly impressed by the meet and greet services provided by Peter Boer on our arrival and departure from Windhoek.

Excellent choices and planning
Secret Namibia planned a 2 week self drive tour for us through Namibia and it was stunning. We had been in Namibia before to see Etosha and the North and that;s why we asked them to plan us a tour in the southern parts. We went to the Kalahari, Fish River Canyon, the Namib, Swakopmund and one last stop in a Game Reserve in the Erindi area.
It was easily one of our best holidays ever and Christell and Johan made it so easy for us. We literally just had to tell them what we had in mind and they came up with a great itinerary which we could customise to exactly what we wanted. So all we had to do was book our international flights - the rest they organised!
On arrival we were welcomed at the airport and shown to our car and then our dream holiday started :-)

Excellent help for us
The itinerary was organised extremely well and we visited some excellent places. Everyone was very friendly. The accommodation was excellent and we had a fantastic time. Any problems were sorted quickly and efficiently (except the car wifi which wasn't their fault).

Exceptional service and planning by Secret Namibia
This was indeed one of our most memorable holidays ever. The itinerary Secret Namibia created for us was well planned and fitted perfectly with our style of travel. We booked a luxury fly-in safari to Sossusvlei (Little Kulala), Skeleton Coast Shipwreck Lodge & Hoanib Skeleton Coast Camp), Damaraland (Onduli Ridge), Hartmann Valley (Serra Cafema) and Etosha (Camp Kala). All of these destinations and luxury camps offered an experience that can be found nowhere else on earth.
The communication and level of professionalism from Secret Namibia was unmatched, they were always ready to answer any questions we had. Our safari was planned and booked within 7 days, it was a last minute decision to travel to Namibia due to other holidays plans being cancelled.
It was an expensive holiday, but still great value for money.
We would love to revisit Namibia again in the near future.
